Safari Pokemon

What is the best way to catch Safari Pokemon? I just chuck Pokeballs at them until they are caught and this has worked on all, except Tauros! I have encountered him countless times and I have never caught him with my method. Would it be better to catch him using Rocks? Is chucking Rocks at Pokemon better to catch them with anyway?

You can't get Pokeblocks in FR/LG, and yes Gamer2.0 I have caught a Chansey, I have caught quite a few they are alot easier in my opinion! I am asking how other people catch the rarer pokemon, as I am quite stuck.

Opposite here. I've got Tauros, but need Chansey. And Scyther, for that matter. (Those two are the only two safari Pokemon I haven't got. EDIT: Excluding Pinsir, you fools).

For Tauros and Kangashkan and got lucky, they stayed in on the first try. In a location where they always appear, there's no reason why you shouldn't get one eventually.

I assume you just chucked balls? I got a Kangaskhan but that was because my friend had one and I traded him, I have not managed to catch another one, but neither of us has Tauros. I'll keep trying. Any hints on making him appear?

I give them bate so that they'll stay. Cause if you throw pokeballs, they'll just run away.

I got Chansey and Scyther just now. Chansey stayed in first time through chucking balls and Scyther took four tries. So yeah, chucking balls are the greatest method.

Wow, the Chansey I got has a Lucky Egg!

Tauros appears often when you Surf in the central area, go left into the section to the left, and in the grass there.

Yeah, but then they never stay in.

i hurl rocks at them...they might runaway but for me they're easier to catch that way....

I usually throw rocks at Chansey and Tauros but usually just throw balls at the others.

you know the trick of standing in one place and turn around? ive so get a pkmn with surf on ur team, surf into the pool on ur left when entering move a little left then stand in the grass do the one tile trick and keep chucking balls that's how i did it.

back.
Just throw balls. They always watch carefully and with enough luck, you can catch all the safari pokemon. WOrked for me. The only Tauros I saw, I caught.
