4. Your character is not Omnipotent, Omniscient, or Omnipresent. Do not have them know things they shouldn't, teleport (with exception for those with pokemon that learn teleport, but it still needs to make sense that they would go there), or god-mode.
5. Put your name and location at the top of your post. Inventory is not required. Pokemon list is optional, but preferred.
6. Do not be the idiot that forces me to make more rules (love you guys).

Wild Pokemon
I'm not making lists of wild pokemon for each area. You are free to encounter whatever pokemon make sense for that area (except for legendaries), but I prefer they be ones that are not fully evolved (unless they’re a one stage species, of course).

(This is not to scale, it's just a rough ugly guideline of the park's layout. You're also free to add in additional shops and facilities, as long as they make sense for that are of the park. Below is InnerFlame's rendering.)

OKAY!!! Let's go:

Miss Mace -
Location: Hills, just outside of Gate 1 (South Gate)

Pokemon: Blue (Bellossom), Stormy (Absol), Glimmer (Sableye)

Mace paused as she reached the top of the hill. She'd been able to see Mt. Druddigon for a while now, but from here she could see the tall white wall around the resort, and the tops of several of its taller features. She was glad she had opted to hike here, despite having access to pokemon that could surf or fly. She got to revisit the experience of getting somewhere yourself as she had during her trainer journey, and she was using it as an opportunity to spend time with three of her oldest pokemon friends. Blue was riding on her hat, so he could take in the view, while Glimmer scurried around at her feet, and Stormy marched proudly alongside her. She addressed them, “Pretty cool, right guys?”

She didn't linger too long, there were other people using this path, heading to and from the resort she was about to enjoy. She started down the hill. After a moment she realized something was off, and looked back, her Absol was still staring at the resort, “Come on Stormy.”

A kid on a scooter hit the top of the hill, swerving around Stormy, breaking her gaze, and zipping down the hill. His scooter rolled out another couple yards slowing to a stop. Mace took the distraction as an opportunity to get her pokemon's attention, “Stormy, Come'n!”

Stormy shook her head and leapt down the hill to her and the other pokemon, “Absoool.”

“Heh, neat, you named your Absol, Stormy, just like that gym leader,” commented the kid to her before scooting off. Yeah kid, just like that gym leader.

Mace continued down the path, she could see the que for park entry. She pulled out her pokeballs, and reassured the disappointed faces, “Okay guys, don't worry, we'll have lots of fun inside, but this'll part be easier if it's just me. Then, we'll all go have lunch at the Tropius Grill.”

A guard checked her bag for weapons and alcohol [as if they didn't serve it in the resort] then she was able to get into the main line to pay for entry. The resort's low per entry fee was actually pretty clever. It made you feel like you could stay as long as you wanted, but in reality, once you ran out of money to spend on merch and food, you pretty much had to go home.

As soon as she'd entered she noticed the Pokemon SuperCenter on her left, conveniently placed just in case you realized you forgot something upon entering. To her right was a Pokemon Center and a popcorn cart, and before her lay a shaded jungle path, with forks leading off in four directions. The sounds of flying pokemon filled the canopy over her head. She glanced at the map the clerk had given her while she was paying the entry fee. . . from here the nearest things were hammock rentals, the Kecleon Gift Shop, and the Tropis Bar and Grill.

She headed far right, having promised a Grill lunch to her pokemon, passing a group of tourists who were throwing popcorn to semi-wild Zigzagoon on the side of the path.

Joshua Pierce
Staryu Cove
Pokemon: Jace (Empoleon), Azoth (Gyarados), Pringles (Jellicent♂), Levi (Kingdra)
Affected RP'ers: None

It was a pretty pleasant day for a short vacation, and Josh was standing on the warm sand of the beach by the Staryu Cove. He and Jace had been scouting for this place out as soon as they had arrived to the Safari World Resort, and through very poorly navigationskills, they eventualy just threw away the map they bought by the entrance, and asked around until they got the answer they were looking for. They were now standing there, feeling the warm breeze, while kinda wondering how such a strange climate could exist in such a small area at once. It was like stepping into another world after they had fought their way through the Carnivine jungle, which made Josh wonder about wether or not he should get a vaccine at some point. The view of the beach was well worth it, and once they settled in, Josh just took off his shirt and threw it to Jace before he ran for the water. Jace decided to stay on the beach, playing around with the sand, as it had been a while since they left Humilau City, which made him somewhat homesick.

As Josh was entering the water, he also released Azoth from his Pokeball. Due to the somewhat limited space of the Pokemon gym he usually trained at, the Gyarados didn't have too many options when it came to free roaming. The Atrocious Pokemon stretched out, letting out a fearsome roar, which Josh recognized as a sign of joy. Quite a few people turned to look, and some wild Pokemon took to a distance by the sight of the magnificent beast. "There there boy. We're on vacation! No need to put on such an angry face." Josh said soothingly, and Azoth immideatly dropped the tough-guy act, and grinned widely as he played around i the water for a bit. Josh laughed, and began doing backstrokes to gain more distance from themselves and the beach. He didn't like all the children's noises as they ran around and played in the more shallow water with their parents, who seemed to be very exhausted.

Back at the beach, Jace was already well on his way to create a surprisingly accurate replica of the Froslass Cavern, which they briefly visited an hour before. The sand castle grew in size every moment, and Jace was really enjoying himself. every now and then though, children would run by, climbing him like he was some sort of tree. He quickly got used to noddin understandably to the parents who ran over to drag their children away, while apologizing to him in a slightly panicked voice. Maybe they thought he was a wild Empoleon? They had seen Piplups there before, so it wouldn't be too surprising if they thought so. He also noticed Azoths entrance by the roar, and overheard how some people talked about Josh and his "Apparent lack of consideration to the children playing there", despite most children were just gazing at Azoth with pure awe.

Back in the water, Josh had found a haven where he didn't hear the children yapping as strongly as he had before. At this point, he was just laying on his back in the water, letting the waves carry him around, while Azoth was swimming in circles deep below him, scaring off potential wild Pokemon, and basicaly anyone wanting to socialize with Josh. This what Josh liked the best. Just feeling the water around him. That was why he began swimming competetivly, and why he enrolled as a student under Marlon at the Humilau City Gym. Though he had a lot of responsibilities, it didn't matter as long as he got to do what he loved the most, which was being in water with his Pokemon.

Slade Illien.

Frosslass Caverns

Pokemon: Beowulf (Mightyena), Kinto’un (Mantine)

Affected RP’ers: None.

Kinto’un drifted lazily on the pool, like a flying carpet on the still waters, which reflected the sky perfectly, like a mirror. The air was cold, but not so cold that it was uncomfortable. The chill was strangely pleasant - Slade, having been in the relatively warm Unova region, had not experienced this type of temperature for a long time. Lying on Kinto’un’s back, Slade had both his arms crossed under his head, and his left leg over his right. His navy blue scarf was wrapped tightly enough for warmth, but not so tight that it restricted his movement in any way. His clothes were a light, sky blue, and he would have been indistinguishable from the reflection of the sky had the massive slab of yellowy-brown that was Kinto’un disappeared.

“This is a beautiful place…” he murmured, staring up at the sky, studying the clouds that drifted by like tired dragons returning to their nest. “Wish I could stay here forever.”

Kinto’un did not respond. Upon closer inspection, Slade realised that the Mantine, tired from the journey here, was asleep. Beowulf, his Mightyena, also asleep, was lying by the pond, making occasional snoring noises. He was like a puppy sometimes. Slade smiled, then dipped his left hand fully into the water. It was pleasantly cold, and felt clean, cleaner than most of the water he had drank over the years. He let out a soft whistle of appreciation, careful not to awake his sleeping pokemon. “Quite a place, isn’t it…" he murmured. “A marvel of engineering… Father would have loved it.”

A silence descended over the Frosslass Caverns as his voice was carried away by the winds. Slade blinked, feeling sleepy, but not wanting to sleep out here, worried that Kinto’un would turn over in his sleep like he sometimes did. After a few minutes, he began to speak again. “I wonder how they make all their money back, charging such low prices… the machine for this climate would have costed more than a couple of year’s profit, probably…” He said, making slow circles in the water with his left hand, sending ripples through the pool, disturbing the perfectly calm surface. “Perhaps I should have brought some things to tinker with… I haven’t touched a machine for so long…"

He continued on like this, his increasingly slurred and short sentences trailing off into silence, like birds flying south for winter. Eventually, his eyelids drooped, and he fell asleep, like his Pokemon had a long time ago, his soft snoring carrying out over the Frosslass Caverns.

Waiting...
Melvin Agate
Beautifly Meadow
Pokemon-
Sanjay(Cubone) Avani(Swampert) Leo(Camerupt) Tarri(Flygon)

"Thunk"- the sound of Sanjay's heavy skull hitting the ground made Melvin quickly turn around. The small Pokemon had refused to let Mel carry him, despite not being so graceful of quick on his feet. They came in from the North Gate- Gate 2, into Beautifly Meadow. It was early, so not many of the skilled trainers of the sort he was seeking out had arrived yet. He was not there just for a vacation. He had finally received clearance to make his pre-gym into an official league gym, however, he needed 1,000 legitimate signatures before he could do so. And he figured that a vacation would not only be relaxing, but it would give him a chance to advertise his gym and hopefully, get enough signatures to open his own gym. He looked over at the Cubone, who seemed to be fascinated in a group of vibrantly colored Vivillon and was clumsily chasing them, much to the amusement of a group of young kids who sat and giggled as he tripped and fell once again. Mel walked over and helped him back up. “Come on, little guy. We have business to attend to,” he said to him as he returned him to his Poke-Ball and walked towards the Silcoon Gift Shop, hoping to find a map of this place.

After purchasing the (somewhat overpriced- aren't park maps supposed to be free- he wondered) map, he opened it up, searchign for some sort of training or battling arena- somewhere where he could show off his skills and get some support. But unfortunately, he saw nothing. Or maybe they were secret and not open yet- like the arenas in the amusement park. Or maybe this was a sign that he needed to focus less on his gym career. He had been very focused- training his team nonstop day in and out. He went days without sleeping- trying to get his Pokemon ready to impress the league officials. And on that thought, he realized just how tired he was. He walked over to a nice tall tree, sat down, and closed his eyes...

Extra (Pansear), Isaac (Panpour), Luther (Lucario), Trill (Chatot)

"Guten morgan! Guten morgan!" A chatot sang noisily atop her trainer's head. Leon had long learned to tune her out, but could practically feel the annoyed stares burning into him from the other patrons in the restaurant. "Allez, allez!"

"Please, Trill. It is not even morning," he scolded in a low, German-accented voice, his attention more focused on the park map spread on the table in front of him. A lucario sat to his left, sipping absently at the provided water while keeping a close eye on the pansear and panpour perched together on the seat to Leon's right. The pansear stared with wide eyes around the restaurant, while the panpour didn't even open his. The pansear glanced at her distracted trainer, then took the panpour's hands and began maneuvering them.

The panpour nodded once. "Pan, panpour!" he announced, to the bewilderment of Leon, who looked automatically to the lucario.

The lucario met his trainer's eyes. '...Isaac says that Extra says she wants whatever those people - ' he broke off to gesture at the table over, where the seated customers were all eating sandwiches, 'are eating.' He communicated this fluently through aura as he usually did. It wasn't like any language Leon recognized, but rather a precise and mutual understanding. If only there were a way to replicate it for all pokemon, Devon's poke-translator would be all but complete...

"Thank you, Luther." Leon couldn't help but chuckle at the telephone line needed to convey this information. He focused his attention on Extra the pansear, who gestured silently to the other table. Leon nodded once, then communicated his response through hand gestures as well as speech. "Was I not paying attention, Extra? Yes, that is called a," he slowed his speech for the last word, "sandwich." He laid his right hand flat and slowly engulfed it between the thumb and four fingers of his other hand, as if he were making a sandwich out of them.

Extra watched intently, then copied the gesture. She then tried to teach Isaac the sign for sandwich as well, which Leon found amusing considering Isaac was blind and did not have a sandwich in front of him to touch as a reference point for the sign. As soon as Extra looked at Leon again, he placed his flattened right hand to his mouth and brought it gently down onto his left palm. "Good." Extra smiled widely at him.

"Time to get up! Time for work!" Trill squawked, the German accent in her voice enough to give away where her vocabulary was coming from. Leon sighed an ran a hand through his curly blonde hair, though that wasn't enough to displace the chatot.

Pokemon: Sheldon (Kabutops), Chompy (Cradily), Roost (Archen), Beryl (Carbink)

The moment Rose saw Kabuto Fossil Lab and the Froslass Cavern she immediately wanted to go there. She would have been there right now but Sheldon had glared and scolded her. The woman didn’t have to speak pokemon to understand what he was telling her. She came to relax, not continue her normal Archeologist habits… So she went to a place she hadn’t been in awhile… the beach. It was probably due to the lack of sun on her skin; but the direct sunlight felt like it was roasting Rose.

Rose set down a towel and let out her Cradily, Chompy. Since he was slow moving around, she often put him in his pokeball when going to place to place. The pokemon all had their reactions: Roost and Beryl seem to greatly dislike the moving waters; Chompy went to the water and let the water splash on his roots and Sheldon while not afraid was quite indifferent. Many people and kids seem a bit interest in the group, probably not recognizing these particular pokemon.

“Hmm, I wonder if this swimsuit was a good choice…” The lady asked herself as she looked at the lavender color bikini she was wearing. Even though she liked tanktops and shorts this was a little more revealing than what Rose was used to… And she was sporting a bit of a belly… “Oi… I’ll for a bit of a swim. Sheldon watch over everyone… Don’t let them get too carry away.”

With that decides she walked into the waters. It was about ankle high when she heard a cry. Rose immediately turned to see her Carbink looking sadly at her from the edge of the water. He was just so affectionate and hated to not be at her side. The woman sigh at the sight, there was no way she could bring him with her this time.

“Beryl, I’ll be back soon promise! Just have some fun in the sand.” Even with that reassurance he didn’t look much happier. Another sigh left her lips and couldn’t help but smile. It was kind of cute how attached the pokemon was to her as well as worrisome. Though Sheldon could normally handle them she wouldn’t be gone too long… Chompy and Roost weren’t the best to be around crowds unsupervised for long.

Selena had arrived to the Safari World Resort and the night before, and today she was looking foward to relaxing on the beach for a while. She was dressed in a pink monokini, a black sarong wrapped around her waist, a black sunhat, and a pair of black sunglasses over her eyes. With her busy career, she never had time to just lie on a beach, and read magazines. Now that she had taken a break from modeling to do Contests, she had a lot more free time now. Losing her first contest was very stressful, and she needed the vacation. This particular resort also happened to have a Contest hall on it's property, so she knew she was going to have to give that a try and earn herself her much deserved ribbon.

With Luna the Clefable by her side, she strolled over to the Staryu Cove, found a pair of beach chairs standing next to each other, and the trainer and her Pokemon laid down on them. The beach was filled with people, and their Pokemon. Particularly a bunch of children, which she looked at with disdain. Selena didn't hate kids, just as long as they were well behaved. She didn't want to deal with a bunch of hyperactive kids who didn't know how to control themselves, this was supposed to be a vacation. Still she didn't pay them much attention, as long as they left her alone, then everything would be fine. After applying sunscreen with a very high SPF, Selena then pulled out a copy of PokeGlamour Magazine from her pink beach bag with a picture of herself wearing a fancy evening gown an expensive Cincinno fur coat, and dripping with diamonds on the cover, opened it up, and started reading. "It's so nice to finally have time to enjoy a fabulous beach vacation. Right Luna?"

The Clefable who was also wearing sunglasses over her eyes nodded in agreement. "Clefable fable!"

Everything was peaceful, until she felt herself getting bonked on the head with a rubbery object, she then saw a Master Ball patterned beach ball sitting on her lap. It was immediately followed by a little boy running up to her. "Sorry about that lady!"

If it weren't for the fact that she was wearing sunglasses, that boy would have seen Selena give this boy an angry glare. Luna however, was glaring at him, even though she wasn't the one hit with a ball. Lady?! Do I look like an old woman to you?! But she dared not say that out loud. She then softened her expression. "Oh that's alright darling." Selena replied with a smile, her tone laced with sarcasm. Instead of handing the boy the ball, she then threw it in the opposite direction, causing the boy to run after it. Selena sighed, then went back to reading her magazine.

Miss Mace -
Location: Hills, just outside of Gate 1 (South Gate)

Pokemon: Blue (Bellossom), Stormy (Absol), Glimmer (Sableye)

Mace stared up at the Grill, the facade was decorate with Tropis shaped columns and there was a trained Tropis out front for tourists to take pictures with. She decided to let out her pokemon now, so that it would be clear to the staff how much space they needed. She shuffled her pokeballs, “Blue, Stormy, Glimmer, come on out!”

Blue shook his head and looked around, then started hopping excitedly. Stormy cried out and landed, circled around Mace, and came up gracefully to her side. Glimmer stood in one place looking silently around at everything and everybody.

A young girl reached out to pet Stormy babbling, “Ooo, pretty,” but Stormy leapt away, not wanting a single well groomed hair out of place. Glimmer crept up to the frowning girl, but she didn't seem interested in petting him.

Mace headed for the line to the Grill, calling to her pokemon, “Come on guys.” Her pokemon bounded over and they joined the line. After a couple minutes wait, they were lead to a table, and given booster seats and small cups of water for Glimmer and Blue. Mace already knew Blue would be out of his seat within a couple minutes as she clipped him in. Stormy being a quadruped, was given a bowl of water, and just laid down at Mace's feet.

It was noisy and crowded inside, with someone's Chatot shrieking shrilly about it being time for work. Mace sighed and looked over the menu. There were some high priced steak and fish items, multiple burgers, several vegetarian and vegan options, and few cheaper meals that sounded more like cafe fair, such as sandwiches a la cart and pita slices with humus.

She decided on a burger for herself and the grilled berries for her pokemon.

Slade Illien.

Frosslass Caverns

Pokemon: Beowulf (Mightyena), Kinto’un (Mantine)

Affected RP’ers: None.
Slade blinked, clearing his vision. It hadn’t been long since he fell asleep, and he looked down at his watch, only to discover he does not wear one. He had stopped wearing watches a long time ago when he was on holidays, preferring not to be burdened by schedules and knowing what time it is, but the old habit had remained.

He got up, stretching himself. Kinto’un was still asleep underneath his feet, and was snoring, making bubbles in the water. Slade leaned down and patted the Mantine’s head, then changed his mind. If he overbalanced he would fall into the water, and that would be bad, especially in this temperature.

He decided that he would get off Kinto’un before the Mantine did something bad, like roll over, or thrash about, like he so often did in his sleep. After calculating his velocity and approximate distance to land, he decided that it wasn’t too risky, and decided to make the jump.

He jumped, and landed a few centimetres short of dry land, wetting his sneakers. He cursed, then got out of the water, withdrawing Kinto’un and Beowulf, deciding to allow them to sleep inside their Pokeballs while he found somewhere to dry off. Sitting here without his sneakers on was a good way to catch a cold, considering the temperature.

He decided to go to Staryu Cove. Now that he was wet anyways, sitting on a beach wasn’t going to hurt.

Pokemon: Sheldon (Kabutops), Chompy (Cradily), Roost (Archen), Beryl (Carbink)

Swimming might have been a bad choice of activity for Rose. It wasn’t that she was unfit but been ages since she seriously swam. And she picked the water with a constant waves and currents… She wished she brought some goggles then her eyes wouldn’t be so bothered. She paused slightly to notice someone far out in the water… and a blue pokemon was circling him/her. By the size and color she assumed it was a Gyarados though she couldn’t be hundred percent from the far distance… Even if she wanted to she might actually drown if she attempted to reach the person and pokemon…

Finishing her brief swim she made her way back. She was relieved to feel the wet sandy ground on her toes. As she slowly made her way back to shore, Beryl was there still waiting for her. His gem eyes seem to light up as she approached. The moment Rose exited the water her adoringly rubbed against her leg.

“Beryl…” Rose sighed as she looked down at the overly affectionate pokemon. “You didn’t have to wait for me, silly.” She smile and rubbed the pokemon’s head and the Carbink was seriously beaming with happiness.

From there, Rose scanned the beach for her remaining pokemon. She quickly located the Cradily and Kabutops. The prehistoric plant pokemon was still sitting at the edge of the water, quietly. Nearby the Kabutops was sitting. Sheldon was giving the sharp looks at all the children that approached Chompy. Rose understood very well he was just trying to protect them from the Cradily’s antics.

“Sheldon, where’s Roost?” She asked the pokemon as she walked up. Sheldon looked her in the eyes before pointing outward with his sickle arm. Deeper on the beach the little bird pokemon was hopping around play with some of the children. He seemed to chasing around a beach ball. The Archen looked like he was having fun. The ball landed in the area of a woman and her pink pokemon. The ball was thrown off and the kid ran after it but Roost didn’t follow. His attention seems to be on the pokemon. “Oh no…”

With urgency Rose started quickly running run across the sandy beach with her Carbink following. She wasn’t fast enough as the little bird jumped up on the beach chair and began poking the pokemon, she could now confirm as a Clefable, on the stomach.

“Roost! Stop that now!” Her commanding voice made the Archen stop and shrink down. It chirped sadly and bound towards her with his head down. “It’s not nice to bother people who are trying to relax.” She scolded the young pokemon and his head remained down.

“Ar…Arch…” It chirped again as it longingly looked back at the pink fairy pokemon.

“Hmm? Oh… you thought she was cute? Well that’s no way to treat a cute girl.” She was seriously talking relationship with the young pokemon… And he seems to nod in understanding. “I’m so sorry about this… He was just interested in your Clefable.” Rose apologized and deeply bowed as she hoped for the girl’s forgiveness…

Leon placed his order for the table, with a large house salad for himself, tropius fruit sandwiches for Isaac and Extra, a steak sandwich for Luther, and a bowl of berries and seeds for Trill (she was picky and rarely accepted much else). With some encouragement from Leon, Extra placed her own order using sign language, which Isaac also copied after Leon interpreted her sign language for the waitress. Now he busied himself by jotting down the achievement in his notepad. Although he'd intended to take a vacation from his research, he wasn't able to take a break from studying Isaac and Extra. They learned new things everyday, and he had to be sure to make note of all of them.

While Leon was still taking notes, Trill took off from his head. Leon glanced up, expecting her to have landed where her cup of water sat on the other side of the table, but she wasn't there. "Trill?" he asked, turning in his seat to examine the restaurant. "Luther? Do you see her?"

His lucario was already looking around for her. He finally pointed straight ahead - Leon followed his gesture to another table, where a young woman sat with a bellossom, ((presuming bellossom based on your sign up? You've been saying oddish in your listed pokemon but I think that's just force of habit. lol)) sableye, and an absol at her feet. Trill fluttered down and perched on the back of the bellossom's chair. "Was machst du da?" she sang, tipping her head at the bellossum. "Was machst du, Trill?"

Luther looked back to Leon. 'I can go get her.'

"No... no, I should apologize," Leon said, flustered by his pokemon's behaviour. Trill tended to get excitable with new faces, and there were plenty of those here. "Just keep an eye on Extra and Isaac for me, ja? I will only be a moment." He quickly signed 'I'll be right back' to Extra, then hurried over to the adjacent table.

"Hello! My name is Trill!"
the chatot announced, tipping her head at the girl. She noticed Leon approaching and took to the air. "Bonsoir!"

"Trill! Come here!" Leon said sternly. Fortunately Trill obediently landed on his shoulder. Leon sighed and turned to the young woman Trill had been bothering. "I am so sorry for my pokemon's behaviour - "

"Time for bed! Gute nacht!"

Leon reached over and held her beak closed. A other patrons around them were shooting him annoyed looks. "Er, she gets talkative in crowded areas. It'll be back in her ball if it continues."

After the child left, Selena went back to reading her fashion magazine. Occasionally reading the articles, but mostly looking at what pictures of herself they chose to put on the inside. Everything was quiet, but it was soon interupted by the cries of her Pokemon, and some other unfamiliar noise. Selena looked down from her magazine in annoyance to see what the noise was about, when she saw Luna being attacked by some odd looking bird thing Selena had never seen before. She did know however, that this thing was not the least bit cute. Luna agreed with her, with the way she was flailing her arms about, trying to get it away from her.

Before Selena had a chance to command Luna to use Moonblast on this pest, a brown haired young woman in a lavender bikini with a Carbink following behind her ran over, calling out to what was apparently her Pokemon.

Selena shook her head and sighed, wondering why some women felt like they had to wear a bikini even when they didn't have the body for it. At least the Carbink she had with her was cute.

“Roost! Stop that now!” The Pokemon flew back to the other woman, looking ashamed at what it had just done. After scolding her Pokemon, the woman turned to Selena to apologize on her Pokemon's behalf. “I’m so sorry about this… He was just interested in your Clefable.”

Selena lifted up her sunglasses to look at the other trainer. "Of course he was. There are lots of people interested in my precious Luna." Selena replied while getting up out of her seat to pat her Clefable on the head, while Luna glared at the Archen. "Apology accepted. You really should control your Pokemon, otherwise somebody might attack your... little bird... thing... And we wouldn't want that to happen now would we?" She then went back to her chair. "By the way, let me give you a piece of advice. Now, don't take this the wrong way, but not everybody can pull off wearing a bikini. There is nothing wrong with wearing a one piece swimsuit that covers the stomach. I'm in the fashion industry, I know." She then lowered her sunglasses, and went back to her magazine.

Metallic Wonder
=----------------~~----------------=
Joshua Pierce
Staryu Cove
Pokemon: Jace (Empoleon), Azoth (Gyarados), Pringles (Jellicent♂), Levi (Kingdra)
Affected RP'ers: Mon, InnerFlame

It seemed like time had passed from somewhere from a lot to an eternity while Joshua was in the water. He had done some basic exercises now that he was in the water anyways, and had spent a long time drifting about. At least it felt that way. It had probably not been more than 15 minutes or so. Either way, he could tell Azoth was getting bored, as he swam around more hastilly than before. Maybe he was hungry? What was Jace doing? the whole situation suddenly turned somewhat chaotic for Josh, and he called to Gyarados. "Azoth, could you take us back to the beach" he said, and rather quickly, Azoth appeared from underneath him, towering high up over the water ssurface, with Josh on his head. For some reason, the Gyarados really liked it when Josh rode on his head. While this was going on, Josh, while holding on to Azoths headfin, thought about his Empoleon, and wondered where he could be. It appeared he had moved around since they got into the water, and at first glance, they couldn't spot him.

---

Jace the Empoleon had gone in hiding behind some of the more tropical trees by the beach, after more and more children had shown interest in him. He didn't know how, or why kids were so interested in him, but it was getting somewhat ridiculous, so he took refugee by the trees, and befirended an Exeggutor in the meantime. He could still see the water, and saw that Josh and Azoth was on their way back to the beach, with Josh riding the Gyarados like he used to do back home in Humilau City. Seeing them like that made him want to play too! But he was on guard-duty, watching over Josh's bag, and he was fine with that! His sandcastle-seplica of the Froslass caverns had been a success, until the children arrived. Their parents were around too, spouting excuses like "Oh, don't worry, they'll calm down soon.", "We're sorry to bother you, could you look after them two seconds?" and "You don't know how hard it is to get a baby at the age of 17!!!!". It had been a weird day so far, despite the fact that all this had happened over the course of about 15 minutes or so. It didn't matter, Jace liked the sun, and was always the one to goof off at the each rather than being in the water.
either way, Jace and Exeggutor had found their way back to the beach. Exeggutor just straight ahead admitted he was bored, and wanted to hang out. Apparently, being a background-image on a beach wasn't as interesting as all the Wingulls and Krabby's made it seem. Jace had Josh's bag around his shoulder, and Exeggutor had somehow gotten his shirt stuck in his leaves. The two of them steadily made their way over to where it looked like Azoth would appear, until they both froze in place. "Hey! The penguin is over there!" the sound of a squeeky girl with blonde pigtails and braces was heard, and the two Pokemon turned around to see her pointing towards them. Behind her was 4 other kids, all way too eager to find them, and they started to make chase.
Jace and Exeggutor both started running in a mild panic across the beach, while the sound of the horde followed up. Hopefully, everything would be fine once they got to where Josh would be. He would make the kids go away! Hopefully.. Maybe Azoth could eat them! Nah, that may be a bit harsh.. He could go 'boo', and they would run? too many thoughts ran through Jace's mind as he ran. Azoth did have that intimidating gaze that more often than not scared away more or less anyone who dared coming near. On their way, they saw Azoth and Josh on the beach, but between the duo and them, there was a lady and her Clefable sunbathing, while seemingly being social with another lady and her Archen and Carbink. At their speed, they would have to do some sort of awesome movie-manouver to avoid them in slow motion, but stuff like that never happened. But that didn't mean they couldn't try!
"Emp, Empoleon!" Jace shouted to Exeggutor, and the two had a brief moment of understanding. Jace nodded, and Exeggutor nodded in response, before glowing blue as he used his Psychic-Move, lifting Jace up into the air before he could hit the two ladies. In the air, Jace flapped his flippers, trying to fly the short distance before landing. Unbeknown to him though, Penguins in general can't fly well. He majestically soared over the two ladies while flapping his flippers, which of course resulted in half the bags content to spill out in the sand around the ladies, before Jace himself fell down on the sand on the other side.

---

The trip back to the beach was pretty chill, and from high up in the air on Azoths head, the wind almost instantly dried Josh from head to toe, saving him the trouble of wetting his towel later on. This was also one o the things he really enjoyed. Not only being in the water, but being up close and friendly with them. That's the true way to get to know people and pokemon alike, in his opinion. though he couldn't soar the skies on the head of his buddies back home, the experience with Azoth was just magical, likely by the fact of how obvious Azoth was with how much he enjoyed it himself. It also made him calm down a bit, almost forgetting about Jace, who he had caught a glimpse of in the trees earlier. The plans were that when they got back, Josh would go get something to eat, before possibly exploring the variety of stands selling merchandise. He had gotten spesific orders from back home as of what to bring and what items to buy for his parents.

Getting back to the beach, both Josh and Azoth stretched out, Azoth earning quite a few stares from people around. Josh was about to call Azoth back to his Pokeball when some commotion caught his attention. He turned around to see two ladies and their Pokemon conversing a little further away. Nothing special in particular, but the fact that Jace was having an "I believe I can Fly"-moment a few feet over the two ladies, wawing his flippers in a somewhat crazy manner, dropping half of his bags content. Josh culd only stand there, gaping towards the scenery like a fool, with Azoth doing the same. Jace then pummeled to the ground, kicking up sand in all directions. It seemed to miss any people around, but still. It was quite... interesting? To watch. The silence that followed was painful. One couldn't see it too well, but one could definitely feel the stares of people around, judging. The silence was broken off when an Exeggutor came walking past the ladies, looking somewhat worried at Jace, who was just laying in the sand wallowing in self-pity and embarrassment. As Josh came to as well, he started noticing his stuff in the sand next to the two sunbathing women. He dared not make eye contact with either of them, and awkwardly walked in a circle around them to pick up his stuff. A toothbrush here, a spare hoodie there, his boxers..? Perfect.... Hey! the towel is full of sand now!. He also snatched his shirt from Exeggutors leaves and stuffed it into the bag he took from Jace with the rest of his stuff. He then turned to the ladies, one with black hair and the other with Brown. Both looking dashing in their swimsuits. He bowed deeply as he spoke. "I am very sorry for the commotion, ladies!!" he was also blushing, and a small part of him hoped this sudden turn of events was just a bad daydream or something. Azoth was behind him, laughing, Jace was in the sand, mumbeling with his face down, and Exeggutor just somewhat danced around .... ....

Internet Overlord
(Vern: Remember that you'll need to pass through the Jungle to get to the beach.)

Miss Mace -
Location: Tropis Bar and Grill

Pokemon: Blue (Bellossom), Stormy (Absol), Glimmer (Sableye)

Just after Mace had placed their order, and the waiter was walking away, a Chatot landed on the back if Blue's chair, babbling in a foreign language. Blue looked up at it an commented in a friendly manner, “Bell bell!”

The Chatot introduced itself, or repeated someone's introduction, Mace wasn't sure which until it's trainer appeared and demanded, “Trill! Come here!” then apologized for her behavior. He then held her beak as she tried to yammer some more, and announced the punishment for such behavior out-loud.

“It's no big deal,” commented Mace with a smile, she was well aware that her own pokemon were not always angels, especially Blue. Blue was currently turning around in his booster seat, trying to keep an eye on the bird. Mace reached over, worried he was going to tip his chair, “Settle down buddy.”

Glimmer on the other hand wasn't even clipped into his seat, but calmly looked around, silent as usual. He spotted some kids with coloring sheets and pointed. Mace glanced over, “Sorry, I didn't think about that. . . our food should be her soon though.”

He didn't really pout, but looked away. Mace knew he got bored easy, but thankfully he didn't act the way Blue did when he was bored, though Mace as she tightened the straps restraining Blue, who was making another attempt to get away.

Their food came, and Blue settled down, gnawing on cooked berries peacefully. Glimmer fully inspected his before eating, leaving Mace wondering what he was looking for, while Stormy sniffed her dish before deciding it was up to her standards. Mace shook her head and then cut her burger in half, it was easier to eat one handed that way, which was sometimes necessary with Blue around.

Mt. Druddigon
(The plot begins. . .)

Rangers Robert and Alexis are up on the mount checking the seismic and weather monitoring equipment. Alexis marks down some measurements and call to Robert, “Bob, what's the reading over there?”

“Hun,” replies Robert. She looks up and sees that he's staring off in the distance, but suddenly looks towards her. He smiles sheepishly, “Sorry, thought I saw something.”

“Not the unknown dragon?” mocked Alexis. Robert's smile widened, “At least the park's gotten a lot of publicity from the 'sightings'.”

Melvin Agate
Beautifly Meadow
Pokemon-Sanjay(Cubone) Avani(Swampert) Leo(Camerupt) Tarri (Flygon)
Affected Rp-ers- None yet...

“Hey you there!”
Mel was rudely awoken by a young boy's voice.

“Jamie! That was very impolite of you.” He heard a woman's voice
yelling, likely at the child.”You apologize to that man immediately.”

“Sorry sir,” the kid responded, while Mel stretched out his arms, still not fully aware of what just happened. The kid, Jamie, who was probably no older than 8 or 9, was looking intently down at Mel, who was sitting at the base of a tree. “Hey... I've seen you before,” the kid stated suddenly. “You're Mr.Agate, the guy who stopped those evil scientists at the amusement park! You're the guy who has all the really cool ground-type Pokemon!”

“Uh... yeah...that would be me,” Mel stammered, somewhat embarrassed yet flattered at the same time. The woman, Jamie's mom, walked over at the sound of the commotion.

“You're Melvin Agate. It's very nice to meet you. My son is quite a fan of yours,” she said, putting her hand on her son't shoulder.

“I... I didn't know I had... fans...” Mel said softly as he rose to his feet.

“Of course you have fans,” Jamie's mother responded, obviously having heard his mumbling. “Word of young talent goes around very quickly. And with you opening up an official league gym soon, how could people not know?”

“I just didn't think people would really pay attention to that kind of stuff. I didn't think that being a gym leader and a sort-of her would make me some kind of celebrity,” Mel responded, looking away. He turned back to the woman. “Well, I should be going, but before that-” he reached into his bag and pulled out a clipboard with a sheet of paper “Would you mind signing this? I still need around 300 more signatures before I can open an official gym.”

“Of course,” the woman said brightly, signing the sheet, then allowing Jamie to do the same.

“Alright then. Thank you,” Mel said, walking away. But before he could make it very far, he felt a tug on the back of his shirt.

“Mr.Agate,” he heard Jamie say as he turned around. The boy smiled rather deviously, before pulling out a dusk ball. “Before you go, I challenge you to a battle!” A purplish light came from the dusk ball, and Mel saw a Hippopotas come out. It let out a massive yawn, making some sort of grunting noise. “This is Archer”, Jamie said, gesturing towards the Pokemon. “I've been training like crazy. After, seeing what you can do, I decided that I want to become a ground-type master like you!”

Mel chuckled a little. He admired the kid's ambition, but challenging him to a battle with only that? His Swampert could send that thing flying halfway across the region with just a single Waterfall. But then again, he knew that completely obliterating the kid would make him look like a jerk. And if he intentionally threw the battle, well, it would be obvious. And he would look like even more of a jerk. But he couldn't say no to a battle. One of the official Ever-Grande League rules was to never say no to a battle, no matter who challenges you. But he really didn't know how to accept Jamie's challenge without making himself look bad. But then, he had an idea. “Alright kid, challenge accepted,” he said, reaching for a pokeball. He held it out, and his Cubone appeared from the red glowing aura. “This little guy is Sanjay. I've been training him for my gym. You wouldn't mind if I use him, would you?”

“Not at all, mister,” Jamie responded, laughing. “I was a little afraid you were gonna send out your Swampert and smash us to bits with Waterfall.”

Mel cringed, slightly taken aback by the kid's knowledge of his Pokemon. But he smiled off the negative feelings. “Okay, this will be a 1 versus 1 battle. Last Pokemon standing wins! Get ready...” The kid smiled, taking a sort-of battle stance, preparing to call out an attack.”And go!”

“Okay Archer, Rock Tomb!”

He watched the Hippo Pokemon strike the ground with its forelegs, summoning a few large rocks that slammed into Sanjay. “Not very effective,” Mel mumbled to himself. He knew that Sanjay could easily shake off that attack. “alright Sanjay, get up and use Iron Head,” he yelled, expecting the Pokemon to jump at the opportunity, but nothing happened. “Sanjay, come on. Stop playing games and get on with the battle!” But he saw no movement from under the pile of rocks. “Sanjay?” He walked over to the pile, pushing away the rocks that pinned the Cubone down. Sanjay appeared to be curled in a ball, whimpering. “Come on,” Mel grunted, lifting the Pokemon up. “What is your problem? An attack like that should not leave you so exasperated.” He shook his head. “I've got to work on you some more.” He returned Sanjay to his pokeball.

Jamie popped up in front of Mel, his Hippopotas close behind. “Sanjay can't battle... does this mean I win?”

Mel wasn't quite sure how to respond. He had never lost a battle, especially not to a little kid. He knew this would make his image look bad, but he had to accept the loss and pay up. League rules. “Yeah, you do,” he said, avoiding eye contact with the kid. “Here you go,” he handed Jamie 2,500 Poke-Dollars as a prize. The kid seemed satisfied, running back towards his mother, waving his prize money about. He gave the kid and his mom a sheepish wave before walking off in the opposite direction. He wasn't sure where he was headed, he just knew he needed a break. Soon, the smell of ocean water began to fill the air, and he heard loud, gaudy music and could smell food being grilled. He had arrived at Staryu Cove. He groaned. This was the one place he wanted to avoid, but after losing a battle like that, he figured he could enjoy laying in the sun for a little bit. He went into a changing tent and changed into his bathing suit- Orange swim trunks with blue circles on the side and a pair of red flip-flops. He carried his towel- one with a slightly obnoxious flower pattern and large blue text reading “Slateport Beach” over to chair and sat down. He grabbed a pokeball from his bag and released his Swampert, who seemed very excited by the new surroundings. Almist immediately, she pushed his chair over from behind, the grabbed his leg and began to drag him towards the water. “Okay, okay girl, calm down,' he said, getting back up on his feet as the Water Pokemon sat down and stuck her tongue out- much like a begging Houndour. “I'll go into the water with you.” He hopped on her back and they plunged into the slightly chilly ocean water.

Carnivine Jungle.
Pokemon: Beowulf (Mightyena) Kinto’un (Mantine).

Slade was lost. Knowing that he had to pass through the jungle to get to the beach, he had made his way there. However, having forgotten to pick up a map, he was now trapped inside the tangle of vines and trees that was the Carnivine jungle.
“This place is bigger than I thought.” he muttered, pushing aside one of the vines that had blocked his way. “Couple of hours since I’ve arrived, and I’ve still not seen a single person.”
His Mightyena was following behind him. occasionally barking at something only it could see. The atmosphere was strangely eerie. Slade shivered, despite the heat. The fact that the vines obstructed his vision was making him uneasy.
“I heard there was some sort of restaurant place around here…” he muttered. “Maybe we should stop off there. What do you think?”
His Mightyena barked. Slade took it as a yes. However, there was no point talking about it if he couldn’t find his way out.
“Hm… I think we’re near the east side of the jungle right now… Maybe if we just kept going- Woah!” He was cut off when his Mightyena buried it’s nose into his bag, as if looking for something. He could hear the clinking sound of metals hitting each other. Surprised, he stepped backwards, only to unbalance himself and fall into some mud.
“Dammit…” he muttered, pushing his Mightyena off him. “Now you got me all dirty again…”
And then he realised what his Pokemon was trying to tell him.
“Genius.” Slade said, pushing his Mightyena off him. “Pure genius.”

Rose (Elizabeth Roseanna) Miller
Staryu Cove
Pokemon: Sheldon (Kabutops), Chompy (Cradily), Roost (Archen), Beryl (Carbink)

Luckily the lady didn’t seem too mad about being bothered by Roost. It looked like it was only natural for something like that to happen. Guess it’s something that normally happens when one has super cute pokemon. The young lady when from talking about the pokemon right to her outfit, giving Rose advice about wearing one piece when you didn’t have the built for two pieces. She felt mortified by that statement.

“Oi, I should have never listened to that saleswoman… ” Rose grumbled to herself as she looked at the swimwear. “She told me bikinis were on the rage and it looked good…” At this point the brown-haired woman mad at herself for making such a bad choice in clothing. She wanted to be a bit more stylish but since she literally spent most of her time in a cave it was difficult for her.

Rose took a look at the long black-haired girl’s swimsuit. It looked to be a one-piece and it was a pretty shade of pink and it accompany by some black article of clothing which made a stunning outfit. But that wasn’t all she was nicely built: thin with long legs, subtle curves, and a nicely sized bust… And her skin wasn’t pasty white either. This girl was the picture of a stylishly and beautiful woman… At this point, Rose realized that she may be staring at her too much and too closely… Even though she was just trying to figure out fashion a bit by examining her, she must look like a creepy person. Rose decided that it was time for her to leave… though something she couldn’t quite place stuck with her about that girl.

Just as she was about leave with her two pokemon there was a bit of a commotion a couple of pokemon came running full sprint toward them and then one flew above pair of females. Then things started falling from sky the around them. Rose then looked up to see the blue pokemon… It was an Empoleon… It was getting some help to fly about from its psychic buddy. It must have been a bit too heavy because it pummeled head first into the sand… There was silence and then a short time after that a guy came and without a word. He walked circle around them with his head down. After gathered the things dropped and he apologized with a deep bow. Rose was a bit happy that her pokemon wasn’t the only one causing trouble.

“Archen, Arch!” Roost chirped right on cue with that thought. In his hand was an article of clothes… He seemed a bit fascinated in how it felt. Then suddenly he darted over and dropped at the Clefable’s feet… apparently giving it to her as a gift. Rose was certain it was one of the things that guy’s pokemon dropped.

“You can’t give away other people stuff, Roost…” She grabbed it and looked at it before blushing a bit. “This isn’t exactly a girl gift either… Umm, you missed one.” Rose walked over to wavy brown hair guy and discreetly handed him another pair boxer that Roost that taken. “Don’t worry about it. My pokemon can be quite the troublemakers themselves.”

Timothy Davenport
Staryu Cove
Pokémon: Rhynzo(Nidoking), All-Spark(Rotom), Chromeitheus(Metagross), Goodyear(Drifblim)

Drifting in and out of consciousness, Timothy laid on a sunbathing chair in the shade, which wasn't anything different than what he had been doing since he arrived at the resort, His excuse; Jet lag, even though he arrived by boat, after about a ten minute snooze he sat up to see where his Pokémon were, hoping that they listened to him when he told them to stay nearby, and fortunately for him, they did.

"Heh," Timothy Chuckled under his breath before continuing on; "These guys deserved this, I've been too hard on them recently." He added as he turned his hat forward, covered his eyes with the bill and drifted back to sleep. Just after Timothy had fallen completely asleep, his phone started vibrating to signal that he had got a text message, sleepily picking up the cellular device to read it, a bright flash of orange came barreling out of it with a high frequency, sinister laugh, causing Timothy to leap out of his chair and into the softer sand.

"For crying out loud All-Spark... was that really necessary?" Timothy scolded the little electric ghost as it continued on laughing.

Timothy then got up to look for his team, he managed to see Rhynzo; his Nidoking sitting by the shoreline drawing in the sand, His Drifblim - Goodyear, who was floating aimlessly around Rhynzo, apparently watching him draw incomprehensible figures in the sand. Timothy however, was unable to find his Metagross, which worried him the most given its short temper, shortly after he had picked up his things to go look for the Shiny Pokémon, he had heard a rather tough *Thud* followed by a little kid apologizing, Timothy turned to look at the commotion, and to his dread he seen Chromeitheus standing there, glaring down the small child that bumped into him.

" Meta... Gross" The metallic Pokémon grunted as it turned away and walked over back towards Timothy.

"Chromeitheus, relax, there is nothing here that can hurt you alright? c'mon, what do you all say? lunch?" Timothy said as he pat the Metagross on its forehead.

"Dave." Timothy's phone voice software responded, "I appreciate you offering food, but two of us are ghosts, don't you know we eat children?"

"All-Spark, knock it off, one, for the millionth time, my name is not Dave, stop calling me that, and secondly, that's just a myth, now, are you hungry?" Timothy said, picking up his phone that was possesed once again by his Rotom.

"Of course I'm hungry Dave, I'm a living being, a true living being." the phone went off again in response.

"All-Spark, I'm going to stop letting you watch movies if you keep this up, now, get back in your washing machine, we're going to go find somewhere to eat." Timothy said as he went to turn off his phone.

"Of course Dave." the phone said once again just before All-Spark came flying out of the device and floated towards its Washing Machine.

Timothy then went on to get the attention of both Rhynzo and Goodyear to inform them that it was time for lunch, to which, Goodyear happily wrapped its draping limbs over Timothy followed by a light shrill call, Rhynzo however, was more reluctant to get up from his spot.

"Hey big guy, what's the matter?" Timothy knelled down to try and communicate with the Poison type Pokémon.

Rhynzo let out a small grunt whilst shaking his head and stood up, revealing a crude sketch of a Salamence and Nidoking in a fight.

"Oh... Rhynzo... It wasn't anything we could do buddy, he was too powerful, you did what you could, and honestly, I couldn't thank you enough for that buddy." Timothy said trying to cheer his Nidoking up as he gave the Pokémon a hug to reassure him, "Now guys, where do you all feel like eating at?"

Slade Illien.
Carnivine Jungle.
Pokemon: Beowulf (Mightyena) Kinto’un (Mantine).

Slade sat down on a tree stump and fished out some devices from his backpack - a small, remote-controlled helicopter and a black box with a lens screwed on. He licked his right hand, rubbed the saliva on the box, and pressed it onto the helicopter’s underside. He flicked a switch on the controller, and the helicopter’s blades began to spin, faster and faster, lifting the contraption from the ground, taking the box with it.
As the helicopter flew into the sky, Slade moved it to the right a bit, then pressed a button on the other controller he had set on the ground. He repeated the process a few times, moving the chopper in different directions each time. After a good five minutes or so, Slade returned the helicopter to him, landing it gently on the tree root he was sitting on. After turning the toy off, he turned it over and removed the box from its underside, pressing his index finger hard on it’s left side, causing a small plug to shoot out from the back. He plugged it in to his phone, bringing up some photos on the screen.
After quickly swiping through the first couple, his eyes lit up.
“There! I see a building. It sure looks like a restaurant. Let’s go! If I remember correctly, it was south-east, so… that way.”
Slade got up, pocketing his phone, and returning the devices to his bag, where they belonged. He stepped over the tree root and the two began walking in the direction of the Tropius Bar and Grill, the promise of food and an ice-cold drink driving them on in the sweltering heat.

Leon Pohl

Pokemon:
Extra (Pansear), Isaac (Panpour), Luther (Lucario), Trill (Chatot)

The girl Trill had been bothering didn't seem phased by the chatot's behaviour, much to Leon's relief. "Thank you for understanding," he said gratefully. He slowly released his hand from Trill's beak, and she tipped her head innocently at him. He knew better than to believe that look. "Trill is a bit too friendly for her own good, yes? It is hard to keep an eye on four pokemon at once..." As if realizing this himself, he stole a look back at his other three charges. Extra and Isaac had managed to clamor onto the table, and Luther just barely swiped a glass of water out of the way before Isaac bowled into it on his way to play-tackle Extra.

Luther glanced backwards and made eye contact with his trainer. '...I've got this under control... Probably.'

Leon sighed. "I should leave you to your meal," he said to the woman as he turned to leave. "Come on Trill. Say goodbye now."

Trill perched backwards on Leon's shoulder. "Goodbye now!" she chattered obediently.

"Good girl," Leon praised as they finally reached the table. "Why can't you listen to me all the time? Hm?" Extra noticed him return, and bounded over with a huge grin. Isaac followed, but was treading too close to the edge for Leon's liking. "Careful," he scolded. He scooped the panpour up and placed him back into his seat. "You too," Leon said and signed out to Extra, who scampered back to her chair, still smiling.

Their food came shortly afterward, and the five of them finished everything with no complaints. Leon unfolded the map across the table once everything had been cleared away. "Where should we go next?" He visually scanned over the map and read the descriptions out loud for Isaac. He hoped they would get to do everything before the vacation was over. Predictably, Extra gave the sign for 'desert' while Isaac gave the sign for 'water'.

Luther glanced at the two younger pokemon. 'I was hoping we could tackle Mt. Druddigon,' he admitted through aura.

Leon sighed. "Perhaps the mountain should be saved for the end of the day, ja? We would be too worn out if we tackled it now. Trill? What do you think?"

Trill flew from her bowl of berries over to her trainer's shoulder. "What do you think?"

"I was actually hoping for your opinion, but... oh, nevermind." He folded up the map. "Let's head to the beach first." Extra pouted at him once he repeated the phrase in sign language. "Now, do not look at me like that. There will be plenty of sand for you to play in, I can assure you."

The group exited the restaurant into the main area of the Carnivine Jungle. It was a lot bigger than Leon had been anticipating, and was filled with bird pokemon. They came across a huge flock of chatot at one point, and Trill eagerly joined them. She returned to Leon spouting many new phrases ("We're lost - let me see the map!" "Are you sure you locked the car?" "Mom, I want an ice cream!"), and by the time they'd had their fill of playing on the huge resident tropius and tripping over tree roots, Leon was more than ready to lay out and relax on the beach.

"Alright..." Leon sighed when they finally emerged into Staryu Cove. "I need to change into swim wear." He dug into his backpack for his pokeballs, but Isaac had already heard the sound of waves and was scurrying toward the ocean. Leon held up his pokeball to recall him, but Luther stopped him.

'It's fine,' Luther communicated, looking at Leon. 'I can watch him for a few minutes. Don't spoil his fun.'

Leon lowered the pokeball and frowned. "Are you sure? I will be back in a few minutes."

Luther nodded. 'I will watch him and... 'hang out'.'

"Well, okay then. I trust you." He recalled Extra and Trill into their respective pokeballs, not wishing to overburden his lucario, and set off to the changing rooms.

Once his trainer was gone, Luther settled himself on the beach where he had a clear view of Isaac. The blind panpour had run straight in the surf, and the first wave knocked him right over. He quickly learned what the rush of an approaching wave sounded like, and before long he was running playfully away from them like any other young pokemon would. Luther found himself slightly distracted from his babysitting duties by some sort of commotion to his left. From what he could gather, there was a girl scolding her archen for stealing from a boy and presenting his possessions to another girl's clefable. Luther ignored them as best he could, and watched Isaac play by himself.
