An infomercial comes on, showing images of a beautiful resort, adorable pokemon, rustic cottages, and state-of-the-art facilities:
Welcome trainers and nature lovers, to Safari World Resort! This beautiful oasis is home to over one hundred species of pokemon, living in each of the six geologically distinct areas of the park.

Any visitor's first stop has to be the gorgeous Staryu Cove. This gorgeous white sand beach is home a variety of water type pokemon that you're sure to enjoy! Along with sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and paddle boat rentals; you'll never want to leave the beach, but there's so much more to do at Safari World Resort!

Get hungry while you're on the beach? Stop by Starmie Cafe, for refreshing drinks, delicious snacks, and some great conversation with our Poke Cafe Maids. You'll even have a chance to pet some baby Mantyke, being raised in a spacious pool right at the cafe.

But don't eat too much, because you'll want to save room for a dinner reservation at Tropius Bar and Grill, located deep in our Carnivine Jungle. Loaded with tropical pokemon, a visit the Carnivine Jungle is a must for pokemon watchers and bird trainers alike. And once the day is done, enjoy a truly unique camping experience in a canopy hammock!

Too adventurous? Not to worry, you can always stay in the cozy Cascoon Cottages, located in Beautifly Meadow. Here you'll enjoy modern amenities amidst a rustic charm, complete with complementary coffee and continental breakfast buffet in the morning. And nothing says good morning like a flock of Butterfree, Beautifly, and Vivillon rising into the sky as the sun comes up!

After breakfast head over to the Butterfree Contest Hall, to take in some beautiful pokemon moves, or compete yourself to win fabulous prizes, and the coveted Safari World Resort Ribbon!

After that you'll probably want to head the to nearby Maractus Desert, and enjoy a clear view of the variety of pokemon that call this desert home. Be sure to stop by the P+K Ranch to try you hand at raising Miltank, Tauros, and Numel. And don't worry about lunch, because all ranch hands get treated to a traditional BBQ feast. After that, search for fossils with the team, at Kabuto Fossil Labs!

Desert getting a little too warm? Well, we've got the perfect place for you to cool off, Froslass Caverns! These natural caverns have a chilly micro-climate thanks to the ice type pokemon that inhabit them. But just be sure to pick up a map at the Visitor Center so you don't get lost, because this place is a real labyrinth!

And finally, no visit to Safari World Resort is complete without a trip to Mt. Druddigon, an active volcano at the heart of the park, it is home to many fire and dragon type pokemon. Expect rougher terrain and skilled trainers as you approach the summit. But the effort is worth it, as you'll be rewarded with a truly glorious view!

Well, why not? That sounds pretty fun really. You're due for a vacation anyways, and it turns out the entrance fee for Safari World Resort is actually pretty cheap, and includes a set of three park-print pokeballs. Of course, you know they expect you to shop, eat, and sleep in their facilities, and once you're inside, that is kind of the only option. It's pretty common knowledge that they make most of their money from their shops. Particularly big sellers include park-print pokeballs (because trainers tend to never have enough pokeballs, plus patterned balls double as souvenirs), Snorunt coats (because Froslass caverns is the only place you'll want one, so most people forget to bring one), fancy candy (to give to your friends back home), and mascot pokedolls (because they're freaking adorable, and make great souvenirs).

There's also 2 Ranger Stations located at strategic points on the Resort, as well as Pokemon Centers and Super PokeMarts (which are like regular PokeMarts, except with twice the merchandise and twice the floors) at all 3 entry gates, and the docks (which act as a fourth gate).

As you prepare for your trip and/or make your way towards the Resort, the media starts reporting sightings of a strange dark colored creature lurking around Mt Druddigon. None of the accounts seem to match up to one another, in some it has wings and a bifurcated tail, and in others it has horns and claws, but most seem to agree that it is mammoth in size, and has glowing red eyes. Possibly it is some sort of dragon? Park officials refuse to comment on the sightings calling it a hoax, and local Rangers point to misidentifications of existing pokemon and weather phenomenon.

Well, your trip possibly just got a little more exciting. Will you kick back and enjoy your vacation as planned, or does the mysterious figure lurking around the volcano have you intrigued?

Name: Mace

Appearance:

Mace is short, but has the sort slender build and upright posture that tends to make people remember her as being taller than she actually was. She’s not overly curvy, and has toned muscles from working out with her pokemon and studying martial arts, so from a distance she may be mistaken for a young man. She has an oval face with a pointed chin, slightly upturned nose, and just visible cheekbones. Her medium length hair is sleek and black, though somewhat uneven, but most people never notice that because she’s usually wearing it in a ponytail or pigtails. Her skin tone is pale, with a dash of freckles, and her eyes are a vivid grass green.

In the gym or competitions, Mace wears a sort of costume, a simple outfit intended to project a dark fighter image. It consists of a sleeveless black shorts-type leotard, black fingerless gloves, black trainers, red and pink striped socks, and a red mask. Her casual clothes however consist of a red tank top, blue jeans, a black leather trench coat and wide brimmed hat, plain white socks, and the same black trainers. A lot of people don’t even recognize her out of costume, which is partially because her primary companion pokemon isn’t even a dark type.

She also carries a black leather satchel for storing her pokeballs and supplies.

Personality:
Mace has a very active imagination. She's prone to wild speculation and conspiracy theories, and occasionally slight hysterics. She is however an excellent strategist, partially from her upbringing, and that her first Pokemon was weak baby Oddish.

Mace is friendly and open, probably sharing a bit more than she should at times (as in her conspiracy theories). But she’s a good friend and is always looking out for younger and less experienced trainers, as well as wild pokemon. She loves all pokemon, not just dark types, and thinks that in some ways they are superior to people, such as loving unconditionally. Though she started her gym to help boost the reputation and popularity of dark types which she feels are underappreciated and sometimes discriminated against.

She takes special care to make sure she gives all her pokemon attention regularly. She loves all pokemon, and thinks that in some ways they are superior to people, such as loving unconditionally.

History:
Mace wasn’t always a dark type trainer, in fact for a while it didn’t look like she was even going to be able to go on a trainer journey at all. When she was a kid growing up in Slateport City, money was tight and even a plain poke ball would have been a luxury, much less a trip to the region’s pokelab. She’d takes small jobs trying to earn the money for one, but would always find out about something her family needed more and buy it instead. When not learning or working, Mace managed to get some free lessons from a black belt at a local dojo, starting her passion for the martial arts.

One afternoon when she was eleven, a full year after most trainers start their journey, she didn’t have any after school jobs, so she decided to go for a walk along route 110. She was mostly envying the trainers there, and watching the wild pokemon scurry and play. On her way back, she looked over her shoulder and noticed a tiny oddish on the path behind her. Halfway back to town she saw an oddish again. She didn’t think much about it, until she got back to town and it was still following her. This oddish was young, probably a baby, and either wasn’t old enough to be afraid of humans, or was used to them because it belonged to someone. She tried to find if anyone had lost an oddish, but no one ever came forward.

From then on they were inseparable, and a couple months later they left on a journey. It was hard at first, but after a couple successful battles against weak trainers, Mace was finally able to afford a poke ball for her oddish and something other than berries to eat.

Even though oddish was kind of weak, something she had to use her strategy to account for, she never really thought about catching another pokemon until she saw an Absol. How was something so beautiful considered a dark omen? She spent several weeks trying to find another one and catch it, before she was finally successful. She even caught a Marill to help her out. Having an Absol on her small team was great, and Mace wanted to meet and train other dark type pokemon, leading to her capture of Sableye, and obtaining Houndour by trading Marill.

After that Mace decided to saved up her battle and contest winnings so she could open her own gym, featuring the misunderstood dark type pokemon. And being settled down in one place again, she was able to continue her martial arts lessons regularly. The latest pokemon to join her team is a Deino she got from a fan who breeds dragon type pokemon.

Mace opted to only bring a few Pokemon with her to the resort, it makes travel easier and allows for her to try out new Pokemon when she catches them.

Species: Bellossom

Gender: Male

Personality: Blue is playful and a bit impish, always running around and getting into everything. One might think he’d have calmed down a bit with age, but that really doesn’t seem to have happened.

History: Blue has with Mace for 15 years now, having latched onto her as a baby. The two have been all over the place, and battled a lot of trainers. Though she doesn’t battle much with him anymore, he’s still constantly by her side.

Other: Blue is a little smaller than most Bellossom. Mace figures she found him when he was a baby oddish, or rather he found her, but he never seemed have reached maximum size.

Name: Stormy

Species: Absol

Gender: Female

Personality: Stormy is self-centered and thinks of herself as the star of the show, an elegant and superior Pokemon, beloved by all. This and her ability to sense danger ahead of time, has led to a bit of overconfidence.

History: Mace caught Stormy with the help of Blue and a Marill she no longer has. Proud of themselves Mace and Blue showered Stormy with a bit more attention than they should have. This led to some obedience issues early on, as well as fueling Stormy’s current attitude.

Other: While Stormy is a fairly standard Absol in appearance, she is exceptionally well groomed, with super sleek fur, because she is an attention hog and demands it.

Name: Glimmer

Species: Stableye

Gender: Male

Personality: Glimmer is a passive, quiet, creature, waiting patiently for a good moment to strike. However, it’s clear from his actions that he’d much rather make friends than fight, offering to share even the smallest of berries.

History: Mace caught Glimmer during her journey. It was hard not to shower this new pokemon with the mistake level of attention she’d given Absol, but even the level of attention she gave him made Absol jealous enough to disobey orders, until Mace stopped battling with her for a while.

Other: Glimmer is a bit tall for his species, but it’s not to the point where it’s particularly noticeable or anything.

Occupation/Schooling: Competitive swimmer. Water-type enthusiast. Gym Trainer

Appearance: Joshua is a medium tall young man with an upright posture, making him seem taller than he really is. He has a muscular physique due to his competitive swimming, and due to the amount of time he spends on working out in general. Since he spends most of his time outdoor in the always sunny Humilau City, he has a nice tan going on for him, which brings out the clear blue color of his otherwise gentle eyes. His hair is dark brown, wavy and reaches at medium length, just short from his shoulders. He doesn't do much effort to keep it stylish, as he's in and out of the water so often it would be pointless anyway. He has an overall gentle face, with petite features, often looking somewhat serious, as he doesn't smile to often.

for clothing, Joshua more or less always wears a pair of black swim jammers with vertical cyan-colored streaks down on each side. He also wears a plain white, long-sleeved shirt which he keeps unbuttons at top, revealing his chest and his Key Stone, which is attached to a strong silver chain around his neck. He prefers to walk around barefoot, but has a pair of white trainers with streaks of cyan, just like his jammers. He occasionally wears a pair of shorts over his jammers and a light blue hoodie with the number "32" on his back, which is his usual number during competitions. He only wears this depending on the weather. He is very resistant to cold, and often surprise others by dressing the way he does.

Personality: At first glance, Joshua comes off as a goofy, careless young man without a single worry in the world, that more or less always that look on his face as if he isn't paying attention, or is deep in thought. Though this is partially true, it is not that he's not paying attention. He's the kind of guy that doesn't talk too much, and can have a hard time conversing with people. He has slightly poor social skills, and can sometimes just say things without thinking them through first. Large crowds shuts him down almost completely, making him take on a passive role as an observer, rather than joining potential conversation.

At a young age, to compensate for his already somewhat poor social skills, Joshua found his redemption in water. He loves swimming and being in the water with his Pokemon, mostly so he doesn't have to deal with other people, though he doesn't admit this to anyone, including himself. Sometimes, he gets along with his Pokemon better than other people, and they are the ones he goes to for comfort if he's in a bad mood. He can also be somewhat anti-social at time, all depending on his mood.

Despite his minor setbacks on the social level, he is not incapable of being around others. People usually find him to be an easy person to get along with, since he is generally kind to anyone, as long as they're kind back. He's rarely ever angry, and when he is, he doesn't show it. He has a constant laid-back look to his face which can make it difficult at times to see what his current mood is. He can also be somewhat stubborn, often shutting down completely if he doesn't agree with someone on something.

Joshua is also an intelligent person who knows a lot about water and marine life, as well as other generic stuff. He can sometimes surprise by saying something oddly intelligent which contrasts to the laid-back image he already has. He values the simple things in life and finds joy in more or less everything, allthough water is his all-time favorite. He's optimistic, and sees oppertunity in more or less every situation, regardless of if they're good or bad.

History: Joshua was born and raised in Snowpoint city in Sinnoh until he was about 10 years old. There, he went to school and excelled in most of his grades, allthough he didn't really get along too well with others. Having overprotective parents, they immediately signed him up for therapy lessons, much to his own annoyance. they quickly discovered that he really just needed to find a hobby, to take his mind off of things and to find something that made him feel comfortable. His mother signed him up for football practices, handball, baseball, the schools track team, martial arts and everything, but eventually discovered that he found his joy in swimming. There were a local indoors pool in Snowpoint, as swimming outside would prove difficult.

At the age of 9, the indoor pool was planned to be shut down, making it very difficult for Joshua to have a good place to swim., this made him focus more on generic workouts, until his parents decided to move to another region in accordance to a promotion for his father. A year later, they settled down in Humilau City, Unova, smacking two flies in one go. The city was a short trainride away from his fathers work, and he got to swim more or less as much as he wanted. Things were going smoothly for him from there on out, and he eventually enrolled as an apprentice in the local Pokemon gym with his partner, Prinplup.

As the years went by, he also started participating in competitive swimming, having trained under Marlon, the gym leader, for several years. Though he is very skilled at it, he has yet to make a name for himself, which is pretty irrelevant to him, as he only enjoys the actual swimming, rather than the competitive aspect of it. winning competitions also helped out the family, since his mother had a work-related freak accident involving a Miltank, a Pink haired girl, and the move Rollout. This made life for the family slightly more difficult, but not by much. Josh would also participate in the Gyms Pokemon battles, taking on new challengers on a regular basis.

Gender: Male
Personality: Jace is a strong Pokemon who takes great pride in his strength. He is Joshuas first Pokemon, and his main battler. He's compassionate, and looks after both his trainer and other Pokemon, helping out whenever it is needed.
History: As a Piplup, Jace was obtained when Joshua was around 8 years old. His parents got him from a local breeder, and thought the Water-Type would become a good friend to him.

Species: Gyarados
Nickname: Azoth
Gender: Male
Personality: Azoth is another strong battler with a rather aggressive personality during battles. He's always determined to win, and can endure great damage. Outside of battle, however, he is surprisingly gentle, often chilling out, taking it slow.
History: Azoth was obtained from the rumores Magikarp-Salesman after he arrived in Humilau. Knowing well how weak Magikarps initially are, Joshua bought him and trained with him until he eventually evolved.
Other: Azoth is holding a Gyaradosite, enabeling it to Mega evolve during battle.

Species: Jellicent
Nickname: Pringles
Gender: Male
Personality: Pringles is somewhat goofy, and likes to just relax and take it easy. He is not often used for battles, as he enjoys staying on the sideline more. He cares deeply for Joshua, and always looks after him. He is also the most comforting Pokemon he owns for when he's having a bad day.
History: Pringles was caught just off of Undella Bay as Joshuas 3rd Pokemon. The blob followed him when he was swimming around the area, and swam beside him until he was going to leave. Having bonded in such a short time, he caught it with relative ease.

Nickname: Levi
Gender: Male
Personality: Levi has a somewhat passive personality, and also enjoys participating in battles. He can be somewhat overconfident at times due to being a Dragon-Type, which can be seen in how he sometimes taunts opponents during battles, or after he wins.
History: Levi was caught after Joshua was caught in a storm outside of Humilau City. The Pokemon guided him to safety after he had drifted off juuust a bit too far, unable to get back. He then caught it afterwards.

Name: Dr. Nicolas “Nico” Beauchene

Occupation: Pokemon Doctor/Writer/Unofficial Pokemon Connoisseur

Appearance: Nico is considered average height for a man. He has a solid, taut build and brown, radiant skin. He is fresh-faced and often mistaken to be younger than he is. He keeps his face clean-shaven since he only seems to be able to grow a goatee. His lips are full, and his nose is straight but unimpressive. The arch of his thin eyebrows gives him a devious expression. His most notable features are his huge, heavy, hazel eyes and large, round ears. He used to be uncomfortable with these features, but he has since grown into them. He usually just pushes his black hair back, but sometimes it hangs about messily.

Nico dresses maturely to offset his youthful looks and carries himself with poise and dignity. He pulls off refined yet casual ensembles, adding in splashes of color liberally, indicating fashion-forward thinking. At the moment, he is wearing a navy cardigan over a tucked, navy and white Breton striped t-shirt. This is paired with a pair of beige chinos and brown brogues. His belt is a similar color to his shoes. He has a brown, leather backpack that he uses when travels.

Personality: Nico is a complex, deep person. He possesses boundless wisdom. Some people find it endearing. Others think it’s off-putting. Whatever the case, Nico pays no mind. He is used to being the odd one out. He is driven by the ideas of growth and learning. Any opportunity that has the potential to teach him something new, he takes. Due to his introspective nature, there’s a lot of processing and reflection happening internally. This leads to him being decisive, energetic and single-minded when speaking because he has already processed what needs to be done into a clear vision. This way of thinking allows him to understand complex processes and systems, which he typically applies to people and Pokemon to help them achieve more. He typically solves problems through innovation rather than meticulous studying.

Nico is gentle and prefers to avoid attention for the most part. However, he works tirelessly to maintain harmony and make others comfortable. He may appear quiet at times, but he isn’t a pushover, as he will defend himself when he feels that what he believes is threatened. Nico is passionate and devoted to his values that have been developed over time. When this spark is ignited, his fervor radiates from him. He is incredibly independent, in thought and spirit, and will voice his opinions passionately when necessary. This causes him to display stubborn, assertive behavior.

Nico is intuitive when it come to new people and unfamiliar scenarios. He’s not easily led, nor easily fooled. This causes him to be selective about his friends. He views friendship as a bond not to be treated trivially. He builds trust with others slowly and will not readily reveal his emotions to just anyone. He avoids small talk and prefers talking about important topics, but he is polite if others engage him.

Nico is earnest and responsible. He often views himself as being on a mission and will take it seriously, causing other matters to take a backseat to his primary concerns. He operates with integrity and respect. He expects others to do the same. He is caring and supportive, looking out for the welfare of others. He often has to remind himself to “lighten up”, but when he is in his element, he truly comes alive. During his more jovial moments, a dry and playful sense of humor surfaces.

History: Nico is the son of a police officer and coordinator. They never complained, and they did what they could for their children. Nico was the second oldest of four children. The four were pairs of twins. They were set on having two children, but end up with four.

Nico was always an astute individual and just as passionate as he was intelligent. He often found himself standing up to bullies and befriending the outcast of the school because he felt compassion for them. He enjoyed making others feel better and giving others hope. His kindness made him popular among the students, but he didn’t care too much for this popularity.

He and his brother both decided to get jobs to help his parents lessen the burden of having to support them all. Additionally, it allowed Nico to support his fashion hobby.

Nico spent most of his time reading, even if it wasn’t for an assignment. He was very much interested in Pokemon and people, fascinated by the stories about the bonds developed between Pokemon and their trainers. This lead him to want to experience it first hand.

At the age of eighteen, he received his first Pokemon. It was a Riolu that was abandoned at the Lumiose City Pokemon Center. It’s trainer claimed that it only brought him bad luck, but it turned out that the trainer engaged in reckless behavior too often to have anything other than bad luck. Nico took the Riolu into his care, and it has been his partner ever since.

During his twenties, he spent some time studying as a Pokemon Doctor while traveling around Kalos. He recently obtained his certification and works in Pokemon Centers from time to time. He wants to open his own practice that uses advanced technology to treat Pokemon and trainers. Nico has varied hobbies ranging from battling to researching to contest to history and mythology, but the most important to him are the arts. Personality: Albain is cautious of most situations. He only begins to open up once he feels comfortable. He is intuitive and relies on his intuition to make decisions. He distances himself from others, but he cares deeply for his companions. Albain is typically calm and gentle, but he becomes furious when tampered with.

History: Albain and Nico met under odd circumstances. He was following Nico for the majority of the day. Nico didn’t mind as he enjoyed the company. However, Albain looked scared when Nico planned on camping that night. Albain snatched his bag and ran to the nearest Pokemon Center. Nico gave chase and decided to stay for the night. The next morning he discovered that a landslide ravaged the area that he planned on camping in. Nico thanked Albain for saving his life and asked if he would travel with him.

Species: Lucario
Nickname: Herluin
Gender: Male
Personality: Herluin always puts effort into anything he does, even if the outcome isn’t what he intended. He is intensely loyal and even more prideful. He has high standards for himself and others. For the most part, he is free-spirited and lively.

History: Herluin was disowned by his trainer because his trainer thought he was weak. The Pokemon was dropped off at the Pokemon Center where he was found by Nico the next day. Nurse Joy mentioned that the Riolu had spent the night crying. She had been looking for a trainer to take the young Pokemon. Nico offered to take the Pokemon immediately. Herluin and Nico have been companions for many years at this point. They know each other very well.

Species: Gardevoir
Nickname: Céline
Gender: Female
Personality: Céline is conscientious and aware of most things despite primarily occupies her own world, operating on a plane outside of reality. Her whimsical and eccentric nature often confuses others. She picks up on other’s emotions easily, but she doesn’t always know how to handle them. She still tries to console them. She takes on a protective and maternal persona in serious situations.

History: Nico found Ralts out in the fields while traveling. She kept playing jokes on him by causing things to levitate or shift position. Once Nico discovered this, he challenged her to a battle. Herluin had his work cut out for him, but he defeated her. Nico captured the Pokemon. She has been a staple on his team ever since.

Species: Ninetales
Nickname: Orabelle
Gender: Female
Personality: Orabelle is conscious of her appearance. She only lets Nico or those that she trusts get close to her. If someone else attempts touch her she becomes agitated. Orabelle enjoys being taken care of and likes attention. She teases others at times, but this is her way of joking. Sometimes. Orabelle is a fierce competitor and hates losing. She is stubborn at times and strong-willed.

History: Orabelle and Nico met when she was a Vulpix. She was a tough Pokemon to capture, but she welcomed the opportunity to be taken care of. It didn’t take her long to get used to the city. She immediately fell in love with contests and convinced Nico to train her for them. The pair occasionally competes when Nico has time to.

Appearance: Standing at exactly 6'0", Selena towers over many other girls. She has a fair complexion, forcing her to use sunscreen with a high SPF when she's outdoors. She has a slim and lean figure, with decently sized breasts (Big enough to have cleavage when wearing a low cut outfit, but not so big that they get in the way.) She has silky black hair that reaches to her mid back. She has a heart shaped face, and her features are soft and feminine. Her eyes are almond shaped, and are a light shade of blue, with long eyelashes attached to them that are enhanced by mascara when necessary. She often wears make-up such as dark eyeshadow, dark pink lipstick, rosy pink blush on her cheeks, as well as either pink or black nail polish on her perfectly manicured fingernails. She puts a lot of effort into maintaining her appearance, and she makes sure to keep her face clear of any blemishes, and to maintain a good weight. She considers herself a classic beauty, and has no problems bragging about it.

Selena likes fashion, and likes to dress well. She often wears fancy clothes made by famous designers. Her current outfit consists of a dark pink lolita inspired dress that is decorated with black bows, and a black hem. A pair of black stockings cover her legs, and on her feet she wears a pair of black and pink wedge heels. She wears a black choker around her neck that has a dark pink jewel in the center. She wears a silver cuff bracelet around her right wrist, as well as a diamond ring with a silver band on her right ring finger. On her head, sits a simple pink headband, as well as a silver hairpin shaped like a crescent moon, and her ears are pierced with diamond stud earrings. She carries her things in a fancy pink purse

Personality: Selena's personality can be summed up in two parts, the part that the public sees, and how she is when there aren't cameras around. The part the public sees is as sweet as can be, and often has a smile on her face. She is kind to everyone, and is practically the epitome of goodness, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. As far as the public knows, Selena doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and wouldn't hurt a fly. She's has very feminine tastes, and always acts always prim and proper like a real lady at all times.

Most of that is an act she puts on because that's what people want to see. The real Selena is vain and arrogant. She often overestimates herself and underestimates others. She will not admit to making a mistake if she makes one, and will blame something or someone else when things don't go her way. These traits also makes her a sore loser. Selena is not shy in the least, and she often finds fault with others, and is quite willing to point them out in a blunt manner. (Though, she can't stand when someone does the same to her, and will get upset and ignore their criticism.) Selena values beauty, appearances mean everything to her. She can often be seen studying her reflection in any reflective surface available. She is also quick to judge others, and she looks down on those she believes to be beneath her. (And that's a lot of people.)

Selena is quite a Diva, and loves being in the spotlight. despises dirt and ugliness with a passion. She hates sports, physical labor, camping, or anything that could possibly get her dirty and ruin her image. If forced to do them, she will complain. Something else she can't stand, bugs. The Butterfly-like Pokemon (except Volcarona) she's fine with. It's things like Pinsir, Scolipede, and Durant she can't stand.

Selena's public image isn't completely fake though. She is extroverted, and likes people. When her gaurd is down, she is generous, and can be a pleasant person to be around. It's just hard to tell when it's an act and when she's being sincere most of the time.

History: Selena was born in Nimbasa City, and has lived there her whole life. Her mother was a former model, who is now an editor of a major fashion magazine. Her father is not in the picture, and Selena's mother doesn't like to talk about him. From the time she could walk and talk, Selena's mother pushed her to follow in her footsteps, and become a model herself. Using her connections within the industry, she was able to get a contract with one of the biggest agencies in Unova, and her career began.

She started off modeling children's clothes for local store catalogues. With time, and coaching from her mother, she was able to book high profile jobs, and was praised by designers and photographers she worked for. When she was a teenager, she was asked to go to Kalos, where all the fashion designers were to walk in their fashion shows. Selena loved all the attention and praise she got, which started to go to her head. Most of the other kids she went to school didn't care for her condescending attitude, and the other models she had to work with didn't think she deserved to be as successful as she was, saying that she only got there because of her mother. They treated Selena with indifference, and she had few friends as a result. Selena didn't care what they thought, believing that they were just jealous of her good fortune, and that she was better than them anyway. Her goal in life was to be a star, and no one was going to get in the way.

Her star was rising, but she still wasn't satisfied. Everything was going well, but she felt like there was still something missing in her life. She's tried all kinds of things to relieve these feelings, but they keep coming back. She doesn't know why, she didn't do anything wrong.

Selena quickly became one of the biggest names in fashion. She felt like it was time to try something new. She heard about Pokemon Contests while travelling, and decided to try her hand at being a Co-ordinator. She had caught and trained some Pokemon between modeling jobs, and entered a couple of contests when she was in a region that had a Contest Hall. Much to her annoyance, she has yet to win a ribbon, or make a name for herself in the contest circuit, but that hasn't stopped her from trying.

Personality: Luna mirrors her trainer's personality in every way. She was always a vain one. She is extremely proud of her appearance, and she enjoys showing off. Luna is dislikes Pokemon she considers ugly. If she has to battle one, she will beat it mercilessly if possible.
History: Luna was Selena's first Pokemon. She is a gift from her mother, who happens to be the offspring of her mother's Clefable

Nickname: Morpheus
Species: Musharna
Gender: Male
Personality: Morpheus is quite lazy, and he enjoys eating and sleeping. Selena is often angered by this Pokemon's laziness. It takes a lot of effort to get him to battle, but when he does battle, he is a force to be reckoned with.
History: While in Stration City, a Munna somehow got into her hotel room, and tried to eat her dreams. She was woken up before he had the chance to do so. She was about to call security, and have them deal with this, but then thought the pest was cute and decided to catch him.

Nickname: Nyx
Species: Umbreon
Gender: Female
Personality: Once upon a time, Nyx was named Eve, and was a Timid Eevee. She used to scare easily, and it was a challenge to get her to do anything. Selena was originally planning to evolve her into either Vaporeon, Sylveon, or Espeon, but fate had other plans, After winning a battle at night, she suddenly evolved into an Umbreon. At first, Selena was disgusted by her new look, and refused to use her. She quickly changed her mind after being forced to use her, and she managed to prove her worth in a battle. She took her to the name rater to change her name to something more fitting. Since evolving, her personality took on a darker edge. She likes to cause gradual pain to her opponents and seeing them suffer from her potent Toxic attack. Instead of going for direct attacks, she prefers inflicting status conditions and trolling her opponents.
History: Eeveelutions were all the rage, so Selena knew she had to have one for herself. She was in Unova at the time, and heard there were Eevees in the Castelia Sewers. She wasn't about to go down into that disgusting place, so she had one of her people go down there and get her an Eevee. Her assistant did his job well, and he brought back a shiny Eevee for her.

Species: Vileplume
Personality: Proserpina is a bold and rash Pokemon and she often does things without thinking first, including picking fights with other Pokemon, even if she's at a disadvantage. She enjoys battling, and she gets very upset when she loses.
History: Selena encountered a random Oddish during her travels. She initially fled, and left the little weed alone. After she had more Pokemon though, she decided a Vileplume would look good with a Vileplume, and caught the next Oddish she found.
