Safari zone and the light ball

Would it increase my chances of getting a light ball pikachu if I were to have a nincada with compound eyes at the front of my party? In the Safari zone?

ye Compoundeyes would increase the chance. although pikachu arent quite common so i used Static instead and it took longer.

it would make them have a higher chance but itll be harder o find them as there allready rare id go with your plan thou gl

Put a Pokémon with Static at the front of your party and use up your Safari Balls catching only Pikachu, then check your PC. Chances are, after doing this 2-3 times you'll get a Light Ball (or two, that's what happened to me).

Setp 1: STatic
Step 2: Find pikachus,
Step 3: catch any pikachu you find
Step 4: when your safari game is over check pc for items
Step 5: Repeat if nessary.

Eh, Static and Compoundeyes will help. I personally didn't need it though---first Pikachu I caught, with neither ability, had the Light Ball.
