Safeguard+Outrage=?

I can't remember, and I can't test this right now, but if after I use safeguard then I use Outrage, Petal Dance, or Thrash, does my Poke still get confuzed?

No it doesn't, unless that has changed since the G/S/C days, I haven't had any Pokemon with that combo this gen.

In xd ,1 of the battle discs have a thrashing sharpedo and ur goal is to have misdreavus skillswapthe slowpoke family`s OWn Tempo to sharpedo to stop thrash from confusing,so yes safeguard and outrage will work

Yea, this is plausible, but doesn't safeguard last 5 turns? If so, if you use outrage afterwards, and it (outrage) goes on for 4 or 5 turns, then safeguard is useless (almost always outrage and other attacks like it last the maximum time for me).

No,Rest only heals the status effects that are visible den replaces the status effect with sleep.....+If u get confused after Thrash ,Ud have to rest but den confusion stops u from doing it

BTW the above post,Outrage,Petal Dance,Thrash is only 2-3 turns

I meant Safeguard+ Rest, then you don't fall asleep and still are healed.

Doesn't safeguard just protect your pokemon's stats? not from status affects?? I'm pretty sure that's what it's for............. correct me if I'm wrong.
and by the way, Outrage can't last for 4-5 turns. only 2-3 turns.

Safeguard keeps a Pokemon from receiving a status effect. Mist is what keeps stats from being changed.

The combo SafeGuard+Rest is a good one and yea I tried the SafeGuard+OutRage and it worked fine.

Just so you know, if you use Rest while you have a Safeguard up, Rest isn't affected. You still fall asleep.

safeguard+ outrage works... but with better Dragon attacks like Dragon claw the combo is all but extinct.

I used to have a safeguard+outrage dragonite in G/S/C but now when I use outrage (I have yet to get a shiny new Dragon claw tm) I depend on my wierd good luck to either

a. The attack is used when the pokemon will have no way in hell to survive

b. Dragonite attacks despite Confusion

c. The confuse disappeares in 1 turn ironically?
