Salac Berry?

Okay so I'm getting ready for one of the JAA tournaments. I've made two teams (one for me and one for a friend). The problem is that I need two Salac berries but I only have one. I checked the berrydex and it said that you could only obtain one from Colloseum/Jirachi. I restarted my Colloseum save file recently so I can't get one from there before the tournament.

So my questions are:

Is there any way to obtain a Salac berry in Emerald version? If the berrydex was made before Emerald was released then it might of left out something.

If there is no other way to get a Salac berry, I need advice on how to grow berries.

just grow one. plant it, water it every day, and in 4 days you'll have a little salac berry plant with two berries on it. if you don't have 4 days, i think you're out of luck. maybe someone at JAA could trade you one, but don't count on it.

Nope, it can only be obtained the ways listed in the BerryDex, and by growing it, of course.

get points to get rare berries!

Not only that, you can also earn coupons in the Colosseum Battle Mode to buy a Salac. But for my money, the best way is Orre Colosseum in XD. It's also a good way to train for JAA providing you don't use 00bers.

To elaborate a little more on growing it, you need to water the Berry every "stage" (so seed, sprout, etc) in order to get the max amount of 2 Salac Berries from the plant.

each stage lasts 24 hours, for reference. water it in at least 3 of the four stages (planted, sprouting, growing taller, blooming) to get two berries. otherwise you only get one.

you can get one from colo without playing through, you just go into Mt. Battle with a team registered from a GBA, earn coupons, then plug your GBA in and go to the coupon exchange found in the colosseum section, instead of story mode.
