On an even more serious note, Master Chief is the one with sniper. Samus cannot even scope in with any of her weapons.
She'd more likely freeze him and shoot him with a missile.

Actually Samus does have a sniper weapon, the Imperialist. It appears in Metroid Prime Hunters and it requires ammunition. It has a scope that can zoom in and when the targeting reticle moves over an opponent, it zooms in even more, allowing for more accuracy. When it delivers a headshot in MPH, it was a one-shot kill against any enemy hunter, even in multiplayer mode. And they could have as many as two full energy tanks for defense. Chances are that if Master Chief is hit with one Imperialist blast in the head, he will die. And more importantly, the Imperialist is a laser and thus a true lightspeed weapon.

You called me a fanboy for the sake of defending what sounds like a fanboys opinion. In spite of the fact that I displayed some ignorance of the Metroid universe. When that didn't work out you resorted to name calling, and now you accuse of me of blindly shooting down opinions that conflict with mine when in reality, you blindly support opinions that align themselves with yours. I've done nothing but try to move the discussion forward by building off of others posts. Look through the thread. Nowhere have I said that Samus would win.
Um, no. It doesn't matter for a minute that the characters are from different universes. You can still compare the two characters capabillities as best as you can to see who would most likely win. If there was a match between Eva Unit 01 and let's say...Homer Simpson. Are you not going to know who will win just because they're from a different series?

I remember once coming clean about that a while back, but nowadays my mother doesn't care as much about mature games.Someone posted this at my forum a while back. The animator made Master Chief more beastly than (s)he should've been.
But if Samus is entirely maxed out, then she'd have all of her Hunters beams as well. That means she would have the Imperialist.

Samus has more advanced shields, more advanced weaponry, and micro-manufacturing and fabrication capabilities in her armor. She was bio-enhanced by the chozo and underwent galactic federation training reserved for one recruit in a million.
The master chief has automatic shield recharge, physical enhancement armor and enhanced physical conditioning with specialized SPARTAN training.
And MAYBE cortana, thats the main wild card.
Without Cortana's assistance I'd say samus without a doubt. With the super-powered AI it would be a much closer contest, possibly giving him the edge.

Ahh Dattebayo. Dattebayo failed at serebii. I'm not even that bad, I just get into arguments with fhqwhgads about RB and GH. And like my mom, fhqwhgads wins, everytime. Anyways, I'm allowed to have M games and play them. The only M games I can't have are GTA, and any gam ewith nudity. My mom would not want a game to become a porno.
