Sandshrew

[Flame Guardian]

I caught a male jolly Sandshrew west of Cerulean City.
I intend to give him this moveset:

Swords Dance
Sandstorm
Earthquake
Rock Slide

Would this be good?

Sounds great! No suggestions from me. I can't find any better moves for Sandshrew/Sandslash.

Yes, but I'd rather use an adamant Sandshrew instead of a jolly one.

Well actually I'm quite a speed freak so that's why is jolly. I use swords dance to up his attack. ^-^;;

Jolly isn't really going to help much.
Anything>Sandstorm. Its crap. Something like Substitute, Aerial Ace or Counter over it.

BTW, Counter goes to my Wartortle and Aerial Ace to Pidgeotto.
I will also get a Gengar, Jolteon and Magmar later on.

Sandshrew should have hypercutter. >.> Scyther too btw.

Yeah, I agree with the Hypercutter thing.

For your last slot you could use Iron Tail.
