With the holiday season upon us, it is only fitting that there be a tournament to match. With that, I present to you the first annual Santa's Helper Tournament.
The Breakdown
Here's how it's going to work. Below, you will see a list of 40 Presents. inside each present is a special restriction regarding teambuilding. When you sign up for the tournament, you must also select a present. Upon approval, you will be informed of what your present is. The contents of the presents range from item bans to pokemon bans to mandatory uses of items or pokemon to 3:3 monotype/region teams. There are also 5 'priority presents' that take precedence over the present owned by your opponent. As this tournament will be 5th gen OU, the 5 priority presents all contain "XY Pokebank OU", which mean that the match will be played in the XY Pokebank OU tier, with the standard rules and bans and such. In the end, though, only one can be crowned 'Santa's #1 Helper'.
Rules
-Standard 6v6 BW2 OU Smogon Rules (With certain exceptions)
-This tournament is SIMULATOR ONLY. PO/PS, NOT WiFi.
-Matches will be Best of 3. Not 5, not 1, 3.
-All SPPf rules apply, along with SPPf Tourney Rules
-Breaking of said rules will result in a disqualification from the tournament
Special Rules
-Players must comply with the restriction found in their present. These restrictions will be made public. It is up to you to make sure you and your opponent comply.
-There are 8 possible presents in this tournament. They are as follows:
---1: 3:3 Monocolor - 3 Pokemon on your team must have the same Pokedex color listing. The color choice is up to you.
---2: 3:3 Monotype - 3 Pokemon on your team must share a common type. The type is up to you.
---3: Monoregion - all 6 Pokemon on your team must have been introduced in the same generation. A gen 1 team, for example, could consist of Tauros, Gyarados, Zapdos, Khangaskan, Chansey and Machamp. The region you choose is up to you.
---4: Must use one of 3 Pokemon - You are given a list of 3 Pokemon. you MUST use ONE of those 3 on every team you use in this tournament.
---5: Can not use 3 Pokemon - You are given a list of 3 Pokemon. You CAN NOT use any of those 3 Pokemon. Each group has a common theme, be it spinners, technicians, or something else.
---6: Item Ban - You are not allowed to use a given item.
---7: Must use (an) item
---8: PRIORITY Pokebank OU - This Present takes priority over any other Present. If either player in a match has a Pokebank OU present, then all 3 games in the match will be played in the XY Pokebank OU tier. Whatever present the other player has is not to be taken into account for these matches. If, for example, player 1 has a PRIORITY Pokebank OU present and player 4 has an Item Ban Present, the Item Ban Present will NOT be in effect for their match.

Arranging Matches
Sitting on a Xat chatroom and waiting for your opponent to come find you is not a valid method of arranging a battle. You need to VM or PM your opponent. VMs are preferred, as they allow me to view progress on arranging matches, which affects decisions in the event of Activity Wins.
Posting Matches
When posting the results of your match, you MUST use the following form. If the form is not filled out properly then, in the eyes of this tournament, the match never happened. There will be no arguments on this rule.
Round 1 will end at 12:01 AM on Thursday, December 5th. There will be no exceptions and no extensions. Get the matches done.
