I'm gonna vote for #2. I quite like its use of textures and placement of the text. #1 doesn't look bad, the colors look quite nice in fact, but compared to #2 it looks rather plain.

Number one was nice, but you don't get an all encompassing "Music" theme with that image imo, plus Number 2 used a lot more techniques, nice texture and text work.

While I do like #1 I find it to plain, though you did bring her more into life
#2 ( I'm not good with words...) brings an old look, 'rustic' i guess is what I mean.
and I love the word 'nostalgia'...I mean haven't you ever listened to a song, like really listened closed your eyes and as if by magic your transported to the time and place when it meant so much to you? thats the vibe I got when I saw this.
