• Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

I keep trying but this "Serebii_Bot" seems absolutely persistent and somehow completely beneath the mods' notice.

I just saw a post that's off-topic since Friday, but I don't know if you can flag this one as spam. Can you go to the Poképolls section to find it? It was from tefanfroke.

Implemented a new way around it

Hopefully it won't cause further issues but we can't manually approve every account and the spam detector we had, although blocking nigh-on 100k attempts, is still letting ones through

There comes a point where I feel blocking the ability to make threads until a certain post-count threshold has been reached, but that would require I know how this website is set up, more mods, and a million ways it could go wrong
