Which of the following Natures would be best for a Sceptile?:

Timid [ + Speed - Attack ]
OR
Modest [ + Special Attack - Attack ]

If you are using a Physical Sceptile, neither. But I say Modest here

on topic: for any good grass type you need sp attack and Sceptile speed is already good enough

Ive used Modest and Timid Sceptiles on NetBattle. I prefer Modest ones, since Sceptile is so fast that it outspeeds nearly all Pokemon without a speed boost.

Just make sure you dont have an adamant one...

It depends on where you'll use it, if you use it on the battle frontier, go for Timid, anywhere else, Modest
