Sceptile or Sunflora?

Mighty

Indigo Champion
What do you reckon people. I know they serve different purposes on teams, but what would you say to go with my team of:

Skarm'
Hera'
Hound'
'Kazam
Tyran'

Or maybe I could ditch one of them and go with Suicune from my Colo game?

Sceptile because of it's superior... everything:

Sceppy@leftovers
- Crunch
- Dragon Claw
- T-punch
- leaf blade

super dooper awesome sp. sweeper thing.

StrayedBullet

OMFG................
Sceptile is far far more superior that Sunflora:

Sceptile@leftovers
Modest/Timid Nature
-Leaf Blade
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Thunderpunch

-SB ;001;

Golden Egg

Pokémon Breeder
Sceptile.

Sceptiles basestats:
70 HP
85 Attack
65 Defense
120 Speed
105 Sp.Attack
85 Sp.Def

Sunfloras basestats:
75 HP
75 Attack
55 Defense
30 Speed
105 Sp.Attack
85 Sp.Defense

They have the same Sp.Attack and S.Def, Sunflora has better HP, and Sceptile has better Speed, Def and Attack.

I have ruby....so no Ditto to mate with. I may just keep sceptile as a false swiper and use Suicune in my team instead...Houndoom can cover grass moves with solar beam in the standard set. Yeah? No?

Yeah, the Standard for Hound is this:

Hound
- FT/FB
- Crunch
- sunny day
- solar beam

meh

EDIT: yayyy! Glacier trainer er whatever!

I'd still rather see Sceptile used but Houndoom is just as good.

Houndoom @ Leftovers/Petaya Berry
Timid Nature (+Speed -Attack)
EVs 252 SAtt, 252 Sp, 6 HP
Moves:
-Flamethrower
-Crunch
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam

Gotta love Sunny Day. Boosts Fire attacks, allows Solarbeam to be used every turn and also halves the weakness to Water attacks.

GodFather

The PokéChamp
Sceptile , It's a better Pokémon then Sunflora , they already gave you 'Movesets' so I just said what i wanted to say *

Deathskully

I r gud riter.
Sunnybeaming Houndoom Sucks. Use:

Houndoom @ Leftovers
Modest or Timid Nature
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Pursuit / Beat Up
- Will-O-Wisp
- Crunch

The initial reason I thought of sunflora is because it has ingrain and sunnybeam as well as chlorophyll, but I guess for that meganium serves the purpose better.

Meganium @ Leftovers
[-Attack, +(Sp.)Defense Nature]
-Mega Drain
-Synthesis
-Ingrain
-Leech Seed

But that would take some time setting up, as 2 of the moves are bred into meganiums.

Deathskully, Houndoom is best suited to be a sweeper though...and plus I'm sure my Houndoom (from colo) is male, so I can't breed will-o-wisp onto him.

Sunnybeaming Houndoom is good because it covers his main weakness of water, plus gives him a boost in his already STAB'd fire move. And weakens the already mentioned water moves.

Sceptile is far superior.
Use what Tazzler said.
Sceptile@Leftovers
Timid Nature
-Leaf Blade
-Thunderpunch
-Substitute/Crunch
-Leech Seed/Dragon Claw

BUT, if you wish;
Sunny beaming Sunflora could work. You would want enough speed to out speed somethings when the sun is out though. About 150.
Sunflora@ Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 76 HP, 16 Def, 164 Spd, 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
-Solar Beam
-Sunny Day
-Synthesis
-Grasswhistle
But I don't like the Timid one. Seems a bit of a waste on something that has the same speed as Steelix :/

And Meganium;
Meganium@ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 200 HP, 92 Def, 68 SAtk, 148 SDef
Calm Nature
-Reflect
-Synthesis
-Razor Leaf
-Toxic/Grasswhistle/Counter/Light Screen

Time will tell.
Sceptile
@Chesto Berry/Lum Berry
EVs: 252 Speed, 64 in defenses, 128 in Sp. Atk
Leaf Blade
Rest
Toxic
Protect

Toxistaller Sceppy

Sceptile
@Choice Band
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, rest in Sp. Atk
Earthquake
Brick Break
Leaf Blade

CB'r Sceppy, not a great choice at all, Sp. Atk is higher than Atk.

Sceptile
@(No Clue)
Leaf Blade
Dragon Claw
Hidden Power (Ice/Electric)
Crunch, Leech Seed

OtterPops

Mareep!
If I were you, I would pick Sunflora. :D She's a very good Leech Seeder (Sceptile can be better >.>) and best of all she is unique.
