Scizor... is it worth it?

As a fan of Scyther, and not so much of a Scizor fan, i'm really torn between evolving it.
Scyther's base attack isn't all that far off of Scizor's, and the same goes for defence. Scyther's speed is FAR better than Scizor's, and it even comes without the annoying double weakness to fire.

So, is there an advantage that Scizor has over Scyther that I may have overlooked?

Scizor has only one weakness and it can use Agility for it's not-so-good speed. It looks damn cool too. So for me Scizor>>Scyther.

I guess, Agility could be used- although it is a waste of a turn, pretty much. (seeing as how Scyther has naturally good speed)
As for looking damn cool, surely you jest! Scyther looks MUCH better than Scizor.

anyway Normal moves aren't useful without stab but there are exceptions.

Um, guys? I'm not after a moveset. I can do that myself. I just want to know whether or not it's worth evolving a Scyther.

Scizor can only be fast with the Endu-Versal Set.
You can put Agility on Scizor to make it faster,but it's very risky,as a Fire Attack will take it down in one hit.


This is the set I recommed:


Scizor@Salac Berry
Jolly nature
Ev's 252 Attack/Speed,6 HP

Endure
Reversal
Silver Wind
Steel Wing/Hidden Power:Rock


Hidden Power:Rock is there to take out Fire Types like Moltres,Charizard once the Salac Berry activates.


You can go with this too:

Scizor@Leftovers
Careful nature
Ev's 252 HP/Sp.Defense,6 Defense

Agility/Iron Defense
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Silver Wind


Even with Max HP and Sp.Defense it can still be taken down by a Fire Attack in one hit,due to the 4 KO Weakness.


I like the Endu-Versal Set more,since Hidden Power:Rock can take out Fire Types once the Salac Berry activates.


It's all up to the Trainers decision!
