secret base question

if you mix records with someone and they attach items to their pokemon before you have mixed records. When you battle the person can you use Covet/Trick/Theif to take those items???

Well you can´t. It´s like in the Battle Tower/Frontier.
But it would be cool if you could.

Well, yes you can, but you only get to keep them for that battle, at the end of the battle they are returned. Any items you used during that battle are also returned. Even items you used out of your bag, which I find weird.

But anyway, if you want to keep those items, then no you can't.

You can use Thief them but you can´t keep them after the battle.
