Yay! Pie!
Hi everybody! I just joined a couple of days ago.

I wanted to say sorry for the thread I started before where I made lots of posts in a row. This is my first forum so I didn't know what to do.

I'm in the middle of playing Emerald and my favorite pokemon is, well, Sentret. I like all of the pokemon but Sentret is my top right now. I like Pikachu and Espeon a lot too.

I've been a Pokemon fan since I first saw the cartoon show in 1998 and I've played all of the games.

My sister's helping me post better on these boards so I hope I won't make anymore mistakes. I want to have fun posting here and make lots of Pokemon friends. :D

Using three after naming three favorites is abusing them? I thought it was just enough to add some cuteness without going overboard. =/ Maybe you guys should enforce a limit. I moderate on some other boards, and I didn't think it looked too bad. *shrug* But okay. I'll try to tell him to limit it to one or something.

Honestly I don't find them as distracting as the big signatures. :X I'll go away now.

I say.. just read and FOLLOW the rules. Not 'nuff to just say "read the rules".. but to follow them. And I'm sure the above posters meant to not abuse them like always use those smilies.. because it can get on the nerve of some people. *cough*

3 really isn't abuse, I think you guys are going a tad bit overboard. It was mainly used as emphasis of his favorite Pokemon. :/ But that's just me.

Welcome to SPPF. I hope you have fun, find friends, and do read the rules and try to follow them.

Guys, smilie abuse is using smilies for no apparent reason or overusing them. Sentret was using them as a visual aid after he said they were his favorite Pokemon, and he only used three.

Anyways, welcome to SPPf, and have fun.

There is no rule that really enforces the use of them, but many people think that the pokemon smilies are idiotic and useless. I agree with that.

Yes.They ARE very creative,especially the unique ones,but it can be annoying for dial up users at times.You may PM me if you need help with anything or want a friend.Same goes to you,Larvitar. May I suggest you head over to the fanart rrequest forum and request something for your sig at a shop.

Anyways, welcome here, Sentret. Don't use those "smilies" so frequently (They were fine in that post, but don't use them in every post you make) and don't be close-minded. Yeah. :/
