If it's that Pokemon than hopefully James and Ash are the focal characters.
They're the ones that should get the bird. James cause of his gag, Ash cause Pikachu and the derpy bird would make an amazing tag team!

LET'S SEARCH FOR SUPER RARE POKÉMON WITH GO!

Go aims to join the Mew search team "Project Mew", and is now attempting his first mission! Will he manage to clear it?!

Go's mission is to OBTAIN AN ULGAMOTH'S GOLDEN SCALES!!
Ulgamoth is said to be the incarnation of the sun. The mission Go has been given is to obtain its blazing hot scales!

ULGAMOTH:
Species: Sun Pokémon
Type: Bug/Fire
Ancient murals depict this Pokémon as a "deity of fire".

WHAT IS THIS TRIAL MISSION GO IS TRYING TO COMPLETE?
Joining the project requires outstanding abilities. Only the chosen can become members!
PROFESSOR HODAKA: The project's leader, who has researched Mew for many years!
SHIGERU: Shigeru cleared a mission that required him to obtain a Fire's feather.

TWO PROBLEMS STAND IN GO'S WAY!!
PROBLEM 1: His target is super rare; An alternately colored Ulgamoth!!
Only the super rare alternately colored Ulgamoth has golden scales!
The golden scales are found on its gold wings!
PROBLEM 2: A Merlarva swarm is closing in on him!!
Go gets attacked by Merlarva while searching for the Ulgamoth! They're acting somewhat weird!

They become Ulgamoth when they evolve.

Alternately colored Pokémon are extremely rare, so it's difficult to even find one!

ALTERNATELY COLORED GYARADOS: The Red Gyaradros belonging to Wataru, one of the Kanto region's Elite Four!
ALTERNATELY COLORED KOIKING: Koiking's entire body shines like gold!
ALTERNATELY COLORED BIRIRIDAMA: The monster ball-esque Biriridama's alternate color is blue!
