G. Farfechted lost every battle it participated in.
Except we see it fighting Grapploct? Which implies it beat Hitmontop?
This whole episode and in fact entire arc is just an elaborate setup for Chuck being the dream crusher in the top 8 tournamentI don't care about any of this, all that matters to me is Chuck, he's my favorite character and he carries this entire franchise with one hand on his back.
I am really hoping Riolu does not evolve in this battle. Evolving just to overcome an Octolock seems like a pretty bland reason. However, if he does evolve, hopefully, that will quickly shift the focus back to his other pokes that haven't had as much training.
scene at the beginning of the episode of Riolu kicking the crap out of Riolu to "show how strong it's gotten since our last battle!"

Not what I meant to say but not a bad idea honestlyI would love to see this.
Looks like double team training went too far.
They show exactly that in the preview...I sure hope they don't try to have Pikachu go down to Octolock, when it could and should extremely easily win in that situation by just blasting Grapploct with thunderbolt. It's just not a strategy that should realistically work against Pikachu.
I’m hoping Pikachu escapes it and gets knocked out a different way. We do see it charging up some electricityThey show exactly that in the preview...
