Just call him a champion, since he'll probably only be a champion for this series before he's reset again in the next series and we're supposed to forget that he won a league.

Kukui is absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, stronger than Ash

Notice how all of Kukui's pokémon are fully evolved and probably haven't won battles on technicalities or favoritism

His team's stronger than Ash's current team. Is Kukui stronger than Ash himself? That's more up to debate.

Kukui has owned and trained his pokémon twice the length of Ash's current lifespan

And before people start saying "well if Ash had his ace team" as far as SM is concerned, the only other Ace Ash owns is...

None, actually, because we didn't see any of them

    "But Charizard-"

Wasn't at Oak's Ranch, so Ash can't call for it, wherever it is now

Too bad around 76% of them haven't seen the light of day for...director-knows-when, so they're rusty enough to get trampled by...

    Ash's Rowlet.

    You know.

    The sleeper.

Bortgreen The incredible world of PokéMon!

Three whole years in real time, but of course the anime doesn't consider that or else Ash would be older than him

  8. Twilight-Kun

    Twilight-Kun Pokemon World Champion

Friendly reminder that Ash was ten years, ten months, and ten days old when he started his journey

He's been through seven regions and leagues, and has yet to turn eleven

He's done all this in less than seven weeks

    He is THE Pokémon Speedrunner

(Seven regions, seven leagues, seven weeks...hm...does seem like a good place to end his career, doesn't it?)

To the surprise of no one, Incineroar vs Torracat is the first match

Have we seen Kukui lift a tree and chuck that mf to the side? Nope. No competition, Ash is the strongest in the verse.

    That was RS Ash, silly.

SM Ash can't even budge a tree.

    It's incineroar Vs lycanroc.

Unless lycanroc is recalled immediately after being sent out. Which is possible I suppose especially if ash knows torracat wants to battle incineroar

Actually we have the third preview ( the 30 secs video ). They showed incineroar vs torracat in the first battle.

Age doesn't mean anything. Lance is much younger than Agatha who is as old as Oak and an E4 trainer. Yet, he is considered to be stronger than her. Volkner and Flint are of the same age, yet Flint is significantly stronger than Volkner and even Ash who is much younger than Volkner, is stronger than the latter.

The problem with the alola region is, there isn't really any trainers of a certain level of credibility to help guage how strong Kukui really is. I mean Kukui could be several times stronger than the entirety of alola, yet get butchered against a 1 v 1 against a Champion, E4 member, Alain's MCX. Or possibly be even very high tier trainers like Tobias and his Darkrai or even Brandon and his team of regis.

The only think you can say for a fact is ideally, except Pikachu, none of Ash's current team should be capable of doing squat against Kukui's team. Idc whether melmetal and Naganadel are ultra beasts. Kukui's base alola team should be much more experienced and stronger and be capable of taking them out easily if Ash's charizard/pikachu/sceptile can take out legendaries themselves.

So ash calls out lycanroc. Then seeing kukui uses incineroar immediately switches for torracat. makes sense

No no, he mean Ash send Torracat first thing. The VS card show that

So it's been changed then. Guess last week was an error.

    So we know

    Torracat Vs incineroar
    Lycanroc Vs incineroar
    Lycanroc Vs braviary
    Rowlett Vs venusaur

    Not looking good for torracat

The scoreboard show that Torracat isn't gray-out, so it can also mean that Torracat get call back to let Lycanroc fight with Incineroar; or Incineroar does indeed using Roar to troll Ash

I don't see a scoreboard on the third preview. Which scoreboard do you mean?
