can Mega Evolve!
I found this via Reddit's /r/Pokemon - You can rearange your Menu by dragging the item. The bonus is that the icons at the bottom of the PSS screen, will then move to the new place.

Another new feature is the furthering of IV transfer. Previously, when the parent Pokémon had power items attached, it guaranteed the transfer of one of the IVs, while several IVs were guaranteed to pass down. However, as of X & Y, if you have one of the parents hold the Destiny Knot item, then 5 IVs total from either parent will be guaranteed to be transferred

can Mega Evolve!
Just got to Friend Safari, and since I've got several Staff on my FC list, who appear to be on also on Serebii's own. As far as I can tell you as a Friend share the keep the same type on different 3DSes. Hydrohs is Ice type, on both Mine and Serebii Games. There are other people's names I recognise, and they share the same types.
Regarding that, seems like it's actually not that hard to gain the effects, a few of them at least.
I've only did the lottery one, the Gogoat one, and the berry juice one once each, as well as probably around 5 times of riding the taxi, and talked to Alexa once (I didn't ask her to show me around though) and I already have access to the Boutique and Mega Stone seller now sells the stone for 150,000.
Anyway
Gogoat learns Double-Edge at lv 40, Horn Leech at lv 47, Leaf Blade at lv 55 (and I found this when I already PP Upped the Horn Leech move ._.) and Milk Drink (GOAT MILK FOR EVERYONE) at lv 57 (not 58)
Lucario learns Aura Sphere at lv 42, Calm Mind at lv 47, Heal Pulse at lv 51, and Close Combat at lv 55.

Not only do the trainers retain the type between games, but the same Pokemon appear in the Friend Safari for that person, such as my set type is Dark and my Pokemon that will appear are Nuzleaf, Crawdaunt, and Inkay
The ability Overcoat also appears to protect the Pokemon from powder moves
Edit: Yeah, the text for the ability says: "Protects the Pokemon from things like sand, hail, and powder."

I've been looking at the Berries in slightly more depth. There could be some changes from 3rd and 4th Gen on the times. (FYI: 5th Gen Dream World actually where just double the time of the 4th gen times.)
After planting a Cheri and Leppa Berry at 5PM BST, then waited for 3 hours, (8PM). In 3rd and 4th Gen, the Cheri Berry would have moved on the Spouting stage, Strangely the plant didn't appear. Weeds did however appear, and easily dealt with. At 9PM (4 hours since planting), which is when the Leppa Berry spouts in 4th Gen, both Cheri and Leppa sprouted. This suggest that some berry stages have been altered. As both Berries would finish growing by the time I wake up,
I've planted a Sitrus Berry, which takes 6 hours per stage in Gen 3 and 8hr/stage in Gen 4, at 6PM. I'll report back in few hours. EDIT: At after 8 hours, no change yet.
Why do I care about the timings of the berries? 3rd Gen games have berry patches that stops growing, due to Battery failure.

after checking again, it's indeed 58, not 57. I'm guessing my Gogoat leveled up when I accidentally defeated Xerneas, then I SR-ed, and forgot about it.
By the way, I don't think this is mentioned yet in this thread, regarding Xerneas, it works in the same way as Reshiram/Zekrom, you MUST capture it to proceed with the storyline. If you accidentally defeated it, it will just stand there ready to be battled again.
Its catch rate also seems to be quite high just like Resh/Zek, since you have to capture it. On my first attempt I captured it within a single Ultra Ball while it still has around 20% HP, and on my third attempt, at the start of the battle I used Quick Ball, and it's a success.
This should be the same for Yveltal.
Hopefully this doesn't mean they're also shiny locked like Resh/Zek......

Although I am basically hitch-hiking of Serebii's discovery, I notice that the one new connection among breeding groups is plant and amorphous (Trevenant).
I was going to design a chart depicting all of these breeding connections.
As far as what I have seen in game, I did notice that after a while, Eevee did not want to eat Pokepuffs, as it was swaying its head away. Just to clarify, Eevee evolves into Sylveon the very level that it learns a fairy move. I taught it Baby-Doll Eyes, and it evolved shortly after. Most people probably realized that, but I thought about mentioning it to those that haven't tried it yet.

Continuing On about the Berries. It appears that Cheri and Leppa both take 24 hours from Planting to growing. The Size of Harvest has increased, to double of the 4th Gen amounts. Sitrus still growing, but I'm expecting it to take 48 hours/2 days. I did check the Berry patches several times during the day with them, showing "Budding" and "Flowering" stages seen since 10am, so I am certain that I didn't just let a Patch re-grow while I was not playing.
Wow, the Hex Maniac girl in Anistar's Pokemon Center, the one who gave you a TM each time you visit at a different time, just gave me TM35 Flamethrower today. This definitely holds the record for the most random way ever to obtain that TM.....
Also, Lumiose's Art Museum is awesome. All those official Region artworks....the museum even has the official TCG artwork for the card Town Volunteers. I wonder if anyone else besides me remember this card, it's a very old card from the Aquapolis expansion, back when they still do the whole e-card thing.
And in one of the buildings in Lumiose, a woman is referencing the Riches from Unova's Undella Town, saying that she's looking for Miles, the head of the Riches.

A few people sent this in and got it to work, though I got to a chain of 50 with it not working before it breaking.
It seems you can chain shiny Pokémon by fishing. If you stay where you are and just continue to fish over and over without getting "not even a nibble", the chances of getting a shiny increase
