This is incomplete as these are the berries I currently own.. I'd expect the Rawst and Aspear Berry, to be in the 24 hours list, given the nature of the effects and relationship with Cheri, Chesto, Pecha, Leppa and Oran Berries. I also Expect the Figy, Wiki and Agauv Berries due to similar effect as the Mago and Iapapa berries have in game.

More berries will be confirmed in a few days.

I've discovered that shiny Clauncher is a hella cool Pokemon.

And I already saw THREE Shiny Clawitzer in the GTS today. Shiny Clawitzer is red, just like Shiny Clauncher.

Also saw FOUR Shiny Octillery in the GTS along with FIVE Shiny Qwilfish.

So that pretty much confirms that consecutive fishing does increase the chance to see a shiny. I don't think there would be that many right now if it wasn't because of consecutive fishing.

Ok, this is a little weird. There are other sites claiming the Proof of the names of Event Pokémon, Like who are like Mew, Celebi, Manaphy, etc. They are names of three currently unused but Japanese Trademarked names, modified for English.

They also offer images of Serebii.net Pokédex. We have reason to believe they are doctored images, as well as the pages shown are no longer are on the site.

There is photo of a 3DS showing GTS with a Pokémon waiting to being traded for a Pokémon being one of these names. This image however not doctored in any way. HOWEVER, I have found that you can put almost any name in the box, it will be placed on GTS. I am sure you know that Gatomon* is one of the more popular Monsters from the Digimon Series. You can trade for one:



Since that you can ask for Gatomon, I have reason to believe that said image is not proof that said Pokémon is confirmed as official.

We can not confirm that these Pokémon exist. All I can say is that currently you can not catch or see them in any of the games at this time.

If you search for the Pansear you deposited it won't show up, whereas one that asks for Hoopa or one of the other ones will. That's why the names have credibility.

I guess I'll just mention the list here. Some interesting "mysterious" stuffs in X/Y

- the ghostly hex maniac girl in one of Lumiose's office (GF always love putting in mysterious ghostly stuff in their Pokemon game, but I think this one is the most random so far, it's in an office people are unlikely to visit lol)
- the train station in Couriway and lone "scary" house in Route 14, both are seemingly pointless and serves no purpose whatsoever, but that's exactly what makes them strange, as train station and strange scary house have always served a purpose in Pokemon games. Not to mention you're actually forced to visit the scary house in Route 14.
- the call for help (Y) and the answer (X) on the back side of the panel in Lumiose's train station.
- the mention of Lava Dome Pokemon in Jaune Plaza (which may or may not tied to the whole Volcanion thing people are currently talking about)
- Kalos Power Plant. Game Freak actually put effort in designing more than two different Power Plants and place them in the game, I doubt they'll be there just for decoration.
- The ruins known as the Lost Hotel. We never know one thing, what happened to it? Usually there is an explanation for this kind of thing, but this time, there's not even a single NPC mentioning what actually happened to it, not even a guess. It's almost as if the ruins are just yet another common place, which is strange.
- Chamber of Emptiness. It's a bit suspicious, but then again we do have Scorched Slab in Hoenn.
- and last, what I think is the most popular one so far, the Strange Souvenir quest.

I notice it's not listed on Pokearth but it's possible to fish in Parfum Palace. So far I've found Magikarp with the Old Rod, Corphish with the Good Rod, and Gyarados and Seaking with the Super Rod.

I look at the berries presented on Serebii, and I have seen a linage (pedigree pattern) that eventually leads to the Kee and Maranga berries. There are also minor ones for Salac and Tamato.

Oran + Pecha = Qualot + Tanga = Ganlon

Aspear + Leppa= Howdew + Yache = Lechi

Ganlon + Leichi = Kee

Chesto + Persim = Kelpsy + Wacan = Apicot

Iapapa + Mago = Pomeg + Kasib = Petaya

Apicot + Petaya = Maranga

Kee + Maranga = Amaze Mulch


Minor Ones
Aguav + Figy = Grepa + Roseli = Salac

Sitrus + Lum = Tamato

Personally, I would like to see the linages on Serebii's berry field page as well as the location of the orignal berry that facilitate mutations. (i.e. Oran, Yache)

Edit: I don't want to cause too much speculation, but the amount of berries needed to complete the Tamato and Salac if put together is fourteen, the amount of berries that are not present in Kalos.

Aguav+ Figy = Grepa + Roseli = Salac

Sitrus + Lum = Tamato + 1 = 2

Salac + Tamato = 3

4 + 5 = 6 + 7 = 8

9 + 10 = 11 + 12 = 13

8 + 13 = 14

Do note, the numbers are bookmarks, not actual mathematical entities.

A thing that has been in question for a while since the launch of the game has been confirmed. In the status screen for Pokémon, and seen in trades and in the box, you may have noticed a blue pentagon next to your Pokémon. The meaning of this had yet to be determined, but has been revealed today.

This pentagon is essentially a hack check confirmation. If your Pokémon has this, it confirms it was obtained legitimately in-game or through event. If not, then it has an error and has been hacked.

It's currently unclear how it works but we'll probably find out when hacks start coming through people transferring from Generation V next month.

For reference, the blue pentagon means it's not hacked

I've just been going through and getting clarifications and there's a slim possibility that this might not necessarily be a hack check

While the listing says that if it has the mark it is OK to use, closer reading into the rules of this tournament details that Pokémon transferred over from Black, White, Black 2 & White 2 are not eligible. This could mean that it is in fact a region marker.

Basically, we won't know for sure until Christmas. I have Pokémon from each game and region prepared for transfer so will find out instantly.

It's also interesting that they are blocking out transferred Pokémon from this tournament. If they do it for any other tournaments, it could be them trying to counter the RNG abused Pokémon and hacks anyway.

I like how the wind in Kalos affect our character's movement speed, including while biking and skating. Too bad most of the time the wind hinder us instead of helping us :p








Also, I think it's safe to say that despite having his roster taken from Battle Maison, Inver will only use Pokemon that are in Kalos Dex. So far I haven't see him battling me using a Pokemon that's not in Kalos Dex.

It makes sense anyway, considering he's a trainer you can battle prior to defeating E4 + Champion.

If you're feeling lucky, you can use him to get things like Rhyperior and Gorebyss to be listed as "seen" in your Dex :p








and some minor info regarding O-Power that I don't think has been mentioned in here, also just in case some of you don't know about this yet:

- O-Powers will last through the whole battle, even if the battle ends up lasting longer than the O-Power itself. As long as you haven't see the "___ power has ended" message, they will remain active.
So for example, you can turn on Exp. Point Power and Prize Money Power prior to talking with the restaurant guy, then battle through all four battles in the restaurant, and all four battles will receive the boost, as you won't see the message until you regain control of your character, which is after you receive the Mushroom prize.

- O-Powers that increases stat in battle will be activated regardless of whether you are attacking or not - they would still activate even if you are fleeing. I actually wasted an Attack Lv 3 someone gave to me just because I fled from the battle ._.








Last, regarding the old man in Anistar who will eventually die, you actually CAN prevent his death.

It seems that the trigger is to defeat the E4, so the best way to cheer him up, is to give him a Pokemon AFTER you defeat the E4.

He'll stay happy forever, maybe unless you defeat the E4 again :p

I haven't try this, but maybe if you already lend him a Pokemon, you can take it back first, defeat the E4, then give him the Pokemon again.
