    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Hey guys

Today we hit a milestone. Serebii.net has hit its 15th birthday today.

For a decade and a half, I have been running this site, a labour of love, providing the news and information about Pokémon, from games to anime.

Over the last 15 years, the site has had ridiculous highs and lows. It has been constantly evolving and has only done so thanks to each and every one of you. To this day, it still stuns me whenever I meet someone who uses the site. To me, it is just my hobby, but the international reach of it still stuns me.

What's next for Serebii.net? Well I'll continue to cover the new games both pre and post-release with our legendary level of depth. I am even working on a new aesthetic to replace the one we've been adapting the last 9 years. It was to be ready for today, but unfortunately the existence of ORAS caused me to have to shift my focus. The site will always improve and always be the resource you'll need!

So, all in all, thank you for visiting the site over the years, and helping to make it what it is. I hope you continue to visit the site.

Thank you Serebii, without you, I would probably have never been caught with all the latest pokemon news on the games and the anime. I would of also never met some of the best friends I've ever had without this forum :).

I joined here 8 years aho to get the scoop of Diamond & Pearl. Games that I never even heard of back then!

I still come here for the pokemon news and discussions of the latest pokemon games. As well of seeing what's going on here in the forums.

Happy Birthday Serebii!!! This is the best site to use for Pokemon. I've been visiting this site since 2006, and have been a member here on the forums since 2007. I use this site so much that I made it my homepage on everything web enabled device I own so I never miss anything. I wish this site many more anniversaries to come.

Happy 15th Birthday Serebii. Net! This place has always been my place of choice for Pokémon news! I first discovered this place in 2005, but I didn't make a forum account until 2012. I was a lurker on the forums for quite a long time.

Thank you for everything that you do Serebii! You work extremely hard for this site, and you're a great webmaster!
