Serebii's Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Discovery Thread

The new game, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, is out this week and as usual we will be covering the game in full as soon as we can.

Although it seems that a lot was revealed before launch through leaks and other such methods, this thread will have all the minor things I discover as playing through the game, which may not necessarily warrant posting directly on the site, though keep an eye there too as sections will be updated.

Be warned as this will, of course, contain spoilers

Nemona then picks the other starter and challenges you to a battle. Defeat her and ytou'll then get the Pokédex app for your phone. Nemona will then take you to the academy and teach you how to catch Pokémon and it starts against a Lechonk

She'll give you more Poké Balls and say to meet at the lighthouse

Go to lighthouse and Nemona will meet you but you hear a cry, look to the beach and you will see Koraidon being attacked by some Houndour. You will fall down the cliffside and approach the Koraidon. Give it a Sandwich and it will calm and awaken but go into the cave but change form first

Follow it and Nemona will ask if you need help. Koraidon will keep waiting for you and help you out throuigh the cave where it will scare off some Houndour. Keep going and a Houndoom will appear. It's Level 40 but before it has a chance of battling, Koraidon will defend you and grab you up to Nemona. However, it will change form back and collapse on the floor

Nemona then gives you her phone number. Go to the lighthouse and you'll meet Arven who gets angry at Koraidon and you. He names it Koraidon/Miraidon but says you can't train it, so challenges you. Defeat him and gives you Koraidon's Poké Ball. Then you can climb up the lighthouse for a view. She suggests going to Los Platos

Auto Heal unlocks here

Enter Mesagoza and Nemona will suggest you look around and will meet you at the school when you're ready. Get to the stairs and you'll see two Team Star grunts trying to convince Penny to join. Battle them and Nemona will appear and give you a Tera Orb. You'll go into the school and go to the first class with Jacq. You can take some lessons

Go to the staff room and you'll see Nemona talking to Geeta. she will talk to you about the Champion Rank but will then register all gym locations onto your map

Go to the Cafeteria to meet Arven and he will ask for your help to locate the Herb Mystica. He'll register locations of Titans on your map

Go to your map and you'll get a call from someone who hacked your smartphone, Cassiopeia who asks for you to help with Team Star. Leave and you'll be called to Clavell's office. He will connect you to a friend who needs help, Professor Sada who is working at Area Zero in Paldea. She asks for your help to look after Koraidon. Agree and Nemona will appear to take you to your dorm room. Rest up and time will pass to the Treasure Hunt at school, allowing for you to go on your own adventures. Nemona will inform you of the point of Treasure Hunt but then fight with Arven over whose path you'll follow. Cassiopeia will then call with the Team Star locations. You can then ride on Koraidon

Heading towards Artazon I got distracted by Arven for the Stony Cliff Titan. Klawf can be found on the walls of the stony area. Before you defeat it, it will rn off. Chase it again to repeat and it will start eating a Herb Mythica. Defeat it again and enter the cave and you'll find a Herb. Arven then runs off and gives you a Titan Badgr while making you a sandwich, which makes Koraidon come out to eat it. Koraidon then powers up and is able to dash. Arven then sends a Pokémon out when you leave. Sada then calls you detecting Koraidon's powerup

Approach the area and Cassiopeia will call and suggest tipes until someone called Clive comes in to help but you deduce it's Director Clavell. Clive explains that if you defeat the Boss, they have no choice but to stand down. Defeat the Grunt and Clive returns with a Charcadet, but the Charcadet runs off. Enter and face off 30 Pokémon in 10 minutes in the Star Barrage to get to defeat Mela. After defeating her Torkoal, she sends out Revavroom, her Starmobile. Defeat her and she'll give you a Star Badge and TM038. Cassiopeia will then give you 5000 LP and added some new TMs to the TM machine

Penny then appears and says she's working behind the scenes to help and gives you a bonus reward of Pokémon materials
