I now present to you a very interesting and highly entertaining tournament type. First brought to Serebii by those in Dracaena, the oldest current guild. Ran by Kots last year I have returned to run the tournament once again I hereby present to you, the third edition of Serebii's Word Tournament!

Do not post on this thread unless you are posting an application to join the tournament, posting a completed battle form, or making an activity post. No exceptions.

The Breakdown:
So here's how this tournament is going to work. Each member competing in the tourney will have to pick one 5 letter word. Once the tournament begins, the words you chose will be randomly distributed to all competing members. You must create a team whose ENGLISH letters begin with the letters in your word.

Let me make this VERY CLEAR. The word that you submit is NOT the word you will receive for the next round of the tournament.

For example, say I got the word 'HEART'. That would mean I could create a team using Haxorus (H), Empoleon (E), Accelgor (A), Reuniclus (R), and Tyranitar (T). The last slot in your team will be a wildcard of your choice. (For the record, that team would be awful.)

Rules
-Standard 6v6 OU Smogon Rules (With certain exceptions)
-Single Elimination, 32 man bracket
-Matches will be Best of 3. Not 5, not 1, 3.
-All SPPf rules apply, along with SPPf Tourney Rules
-Breaking of said rules will result in a disqualification from the tournament
-This tournament is Simulator Exclusive. WiFi is not allowed.


Things to remember:
- Your team must consist of 5 Pokemon who's species names spell out the word you have been assigned. The 6th Pokemon in your party can be any Pokemon tiered OU or lower.
- Matches are Best of 3. You ARE allowed to change teams between matches.

Sign-ups will last for a week or until we get 32 participants, whichever comes first.. Once the actual tournament begins, each round will last for 1 week as well. The theme for the first round will be animals so any 5 letter word relating to a particular animal will be acceptable. Examples are: Koala, horse.
Any word with a dictionary.com definition relating to a species of animal will be accepted.
