Some of you may know who Epicocity is from here, but if not, he is a phenomenal fanfic writer who is big fan of Serena and in turn, Amourshipping.

In response to the illogical hate that Serena gets on a daily basis, he came up with this blog about why Serena is arguably the best written character in Pokemon anime history. Please do read it through, as it is very well written and deserves praise for its objectiveness.

Really interesting blog which really explained Serena's character as a whole, the best part is the first part for me because people are always saying that not having a goal at the start of a saga is bad but at the same time it can be seen has a quality , for me I can really relate to Serena because I didn't know what I wanted to do before (and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work only for me) so it made Serena's character more realistic and more human being... So I personally see this as a quality instead of a flaw but I can be totally agree that her goal closure was a bit rushed in XY&Z.
The problems she had with her mother can also work a lot in real life for some people but it's a really hard topic I guess.

Wow....that thread is amazing. Serena remind's me of me a little, in there; How I struggle with what I want in life too, though it isn't quite the same (i'll make more of a post about it later; my mom need's her computer really soon).

Her crush on Ash's description from that thread made me think of how I am about Korrina, too. How she make's me want to feel more confident in my goals and like giving up on things less and stuff? Something like that.

I'll make more of a post when I have more online time again. Just...wow though.

EDIT: I guess i'll post more here. I have internal conflict a lot and i relise my crush on korrina also annoys some people on this forum, like amour shipping does. Though likely for other reasons. Sadly, even on this computer, my mom isn't allowing me time to make a good post. I can't really think of one, but yeah, it's upsetting me a bit...

I can also relate to Serena, not for the crush but for the troubles she had to find something she wanted to do. If you have a crush too that's fine nobody should judge you about that and if it helps you to be more confident and progress (just like it was for Serena) it's great so don't worry about it.

SO, I'm sure some of you have heard the great news but for those who haven't, Serena will be getting yet another figurine, this time of her and Sylveon in the G.E.M series!!

I personally was very excited to hear this news over the weekend. I already have the music box and the Game Serena figurine is on its way too! RIP my poor wallet tho, when I have to pre-order this upcoming beauty. ^^;

Is anyone else going to try and buy this new Serena figurine? Has anyone already brought the music box and/or Game Serena figurine?

So when is this item supposed to be available? I probably will end up buying it and I'll place it right next to my Serena music box. I think I've turned that key and played Dori Dori at least a 100 times since I got it lol.

As of now, there is no release date for when the figurine will be available for pre-orders but as soon as there is, I will post here to let y'all know!

And SAME, the Dori Dori tune always perks me up.

Same here, and I keep mine in on of those hard plastic sports memorabilia cubes, on my desk.

Pikachu is in there for extra protection.

I can believe it, because I've seen them there and price anywhere between $300-$500

Well, I payed a little more than $80 for mine, when I pre-ordered it, but it is a limited item. I honestly didn't think they'd be selling for that much ($400), but hey, if one can afford to spend that much on one those music boxes, then it's no big deal.

There's way more stuff about Serena like the little Serena chains that I saw in a store in Paris (you can see it in the 3rd pic of the tweet that I posted) but I'm waiting for Serena and Sylveon figurine because it's going to be amazing , no doubts about it and Sylveon was my favorite Pokemon of the XY main cast.

Maybe its cuz it remind's me of my riku plushie a little, but that serena plushie....spooks me out a bit ;;; (also i was near a really bad kingdom hearts forum not too long ago. so i'm pretty freaked out by anything kh-y to me right now o_o;;; )
