Server Hopefully Sorted

Yesterday Ric & the SA's upgraded the PHP, Apache, MySQL etc. on the server, essentially everything aswell as sorting the settings out for multiple connections

However there is no way to tell if this will work so we just have to take a wait and see stance unfortunately. On the plus side, the clock's fixed

The site server may experience some scheduled downtime aswell soon as we try to fix the problems on that server

Well, yay for the upgrades and the fixing of the clock. But I think it still is like a few minutes ahead of the usual time. I remember you saying that, but I'm not sure about the reason.

I'll say it's fixed... for the moment anyway. I got all my PM notifications in my email when i logged in to hotmail this morning. It's not pleasent to see over 100 notifications at once X3 I've often wondered about the clock too, but just summed it up to Daylights saving time or something.

Has it messed with the rating system now? It says things like; 3.33333 instead of 3.33, or whatever.

Ah, well, hopefully the problem's over with...

Just kidding. Nah, I was one of the very few people who was glad to have the downtime yesterday. Gave me a break from the intarnetz, or at least on some things. But glad to see everything running smoothly for time being, and even happier to see the clock fixed (which, oddly, annoyed me more than the lag. o.o)​

I wondered why I was getting notices for things I already saw and why I wasn't getting notices for new posts and had to check manually. The mystery is solved. As for the clock, I just went to the Control Panel and changed the GMT temporarily. Anyway, glad things seem to be working for the time being. I hope the forum doesn't disappear again.

The clock was acting up? Good, I thought my computer time was just messed up. Everytime I posted it would say I posted 1 hour after the original time of posting. Knowing me, I was VERY confused :O
