I think that your recolors are your best sprites...however they are just basic recolors. Obviously, it is more advanced to go into fusing, and eventually scratching. On your fusions, the parts seem rather disconected. Also, the shading, especially on the Bonsly/Mudkip one, is very off. Read a couple tutorials if you'd like, but really, you're on the right track.
