It doesnt make sence that ash is going to go to the D/P region after the battle frontier. They are almost done the frontier and they ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE to even making a quarter of the Pokemon for the next region. Let alone the cities, and the badges, and the types of gyms. So, I think its most likely for ash and co. to go to the sevvi islands.

Macho man!
i mean that they are only done with a quater of the game. for all we know, it might be done. they could be makeing it better. they dont just release all their stuff as soon as it is done ya know.

CyberCubed

Yeah, ok!
You honestly believe that Pokemon D/P is not close to being in the final stages? There is a LOT of development for the games that goes on behind the scenes, I think it's pretty obvious at this point that the formula of the game and all the new Pokemon are finished.

It's just Nintendo being secretive as usual.

They would actually be starting to send out more info on new pokemon if it was close to being done.....well that's what they did in the past anyways.

WHERE IS PIDGEOT?!
i really would like them to go to Sevii Islands...id also like to see FRLG girl in the animé...it is possible, but they might put contests or another battle frontier in Johto or something (thinking about it, they could do that with Sevii Islands as well). i guess we just can't say. Orange Islands were made up, as was the Whirl Cup (or whatever it was).

id like to see Sevii Islands! more johto pokemon, i say!

Just because information hasn't been released, doesn't mean D/P aren't close to being finished. Hell, it may be completely done and merely being revised at the moment.

Of course there isn't going to be any information on D/P right now, not with Pokemon Ranger 'taking the world by storm'. One game at a time people, one game at a time.
Though if memory does serve me correctly, the first pictures of R/S were released sometime in March and it was actually released in November of the same year [meaning, we sure as hell should get some pictures soon]. The point is, it takes time to release a game. You need to have the right marketing tactics by giving the public a little bit so they want more.

On the Sevii Islands, yes, I can see it being used as a last resort. However, who says Brandon is coming up within the next few episodes? And after that, what about the League for the Battle Frontier, and May's Grand Festival? Will that not take up a couple of months? Slap some fillers in between all those main events, and you're pretty much done right there.

Actually I could see something about the Sevii Islands. I mean in Pokemon Chronicles Ritchie was in the Sevii Islands, and why would a kid go there if there wasn't anything worth going there.

I think so. Maybe in D/P series, Ash and his friends should go to the Sevii Islands. Because at there have new Pokemons and new people to see.

Yeah, ok!

In the D/P series the gang will be in the D/P region, not trotting around back on a bunch of islands in Kanto.

If they were to go to the Sevii Islands, during the Battle Frontier would be the perfect oppurtunity, not afterwards. I am sure they will find something else which will not involve an extra quest (similar to the 2 months before Kanto league)

If they keep adding fillers especially with some towns between their current location (I'm assuming an island still) and Pewter City, then Kanto must be huge and Ash must have missed most of those locations on his first journey. Other than that I don't really think there is alot of towns between the current location and Pewter City so then either most of the fillers are going to take place in the natural environment or the Battle Pyramid is coming closer than everone thinks.

Although thats true I still think D/P will be released till around the end of the year. I suspect the saga will end around June-July. Besides who ever said there'd be a league for the BF. I hope there isnt a league. This is supposed to be this exclusive thing that few can enter.

CyberCubed

Yeah, ok!
I bet the BF arc will be over before the 9th movie. They'll have to tie up all loose ends so the movie can fit into continuity.

Well by the looks of it, the 9th movie, the whole setting is by a beach, and since Ash and Co. are just about done with Kanto, that might mean that they could be going to a region that has lots of islands (possibly Sevii)
