Shroomish are shaped like a woman's breasts.
Barboach is a phallic symbol.

So the fishermen are saying "Oh, I just love breasts/penises, especially big ones."

Creepy, eh?

Really, though, I always found it odd that a fisherman would be asking for Shroomish - why would a fisherman be interested in Grass Pokémon?

Sure, you need to be a bit twisted to think of that... but unlike all other such theories I've seen, this one actually makes a little bit of sense.

But of course, it makes perfect sence. Something which is done sometimes to certain things, such as video games, is add something ... what's the word I'm looking for... well I guess I'll just say something relating to sex because that is what is used most of the time is used... but place it in such an non-obvious spot that many people don't know that there's something wrong, but the brain can't help but think something's amiss. That makes it so the person doesn't forget it easily.
