Does Shadow Lugia gain EVs for the battles it had while it was shadow?

they are a little something for example, if you battle a linoone and KO it you get 3 effort points.

Yes it keeps them...
Why? Because it gains experience it didn't gain when it was a Shadow Pokemon... And a Pokemon gains EVs via experience points...

I just maxed out my Lugia's speed EVs by battling 128 Linoones. What Pokemon should I avoid battling so that I do not scfrew my speed EVs up.
