Shadow Milotic?

Would you have liked to see Shadow Milotic in these games? Would you like to see it in a future GameCube Pokemon game? Or would you rather have Feebas remain extremely rare. Post your thoughts.

it has to be hard to find. nowadays, having a legendary doesn't really say anything about you. Anyone can catch a legendary, so it doesn't really command respect. But a Milotic... that commands respect. It says that you were patient to find a feebass, and you took care of it to get a milotic. Or it says that you were lucky on the first try . But Feebasses are super rare, you might never find it unless you look on every single square. I used to have a Milotic, but i was only lucky because i took someone elses phrase that they got (PM me if you want the phrase). if there is a shadow milotic, then it'll ruin the value of a milotic. it's just like inflation and deflation. if there is less bills, then their value goes up. if there are more, then the value goes down. so that's why i think feebass should stay rare.

Hmm you make an excellent point........but what if shadow milotic was also hard to find. Like you had to go on a scavenger hunt ( like the lucky egg quest ) to fight a trainer for it. I am a big fan of Milotic and it sucks that I am too impatient to fish for it.

EDIT: They should've given you a shadow milotic if you purified all the Pokemon in XD. Too late now though.

if they made it a hundred times harder, then yes, i would not object to a scavenger hunt. i've been reading the other forums, and a lot of people have already purified all the shadows. say you had to purify then beat BOTH Mt. battle's then that would still be too easy. i know what you mean. i used to have a milotic. *sniff* it was the best ever... i used it in battle tower in sapphire and it sweeped the competition.

Wow, what an idiot. It seems XD001 is lying. Whenever you change the phrase, it is randomed again. The same phrase means just another random 6 out of the 400 tiles will have feebas.

But, I think Feebas should stay rare, as it is one of those brag worthy moments in pokemon when you find it.

Feebas really isn't what I call rare. Sure, it takes plenty of effort to find it, but once you have found one of those six squares it's not that hard to find anymore.

As for Shadow Milotic, I agree with the general opinion of "no," but not with the reasons. Thus, I did not vote in the poll. My reason is that it's hardly useful given the low range of moves you can teach it in XD before you beat the game.

Milotic should remain a rare and valuable thing. I'm proud to say I spent hours and hours looking for my Feebas... or rather, my current Milotic's mother. (That particular Feebas doesn't exist anymore since I started a new game after trading the new baby Feebas to Sapphire.)

Honestly.. if a terribly impatient, attention defecit person like me can find one, I'm sure you can too. There's a certain feeling of acomplishment when you find a Pokemon like Feebas, that catching any common Pokemon just wouldn't give you.

exactly what i'm trying to say. what's the value of a Milotic if everyone could catch it?

seizureman: A. i had a really good file going on. my strongest pokemon were my level 98 blaziken (double kick, flamethrower, sky uppercut, blaze kick), a kyogre in the level 80's (hydro pump, sheer cold, ice beam, calm mind) and a level 50 milotic (hydro pump, ice beam, attract, recover), a level 50 salamence (fly, dragon claw, fire blast, and i forget the last move), and a level 50 walrein (ice beam, hail, blizzard, auruora beam). these were my pride and joy... let's not forget the shiny linoone and tentacool... the only bad thing about this was that i killed latias. my level 50's did great in the battle tower. then came along a little booklet advertising [SPOIL]gameshark[/SPOIL] i was really young so naturally I was fooled x_x. the local "best buy" didn't have a [SPOIL] gameshark[/SPOIL] but they did have an [SPOIL]action replay[/SPOIL]. i used it, and you know what it did? IT CORRUPTED MY GAME! every time i went to the items menu some weird japanese characters would come up. if I ignored it, the game would reset. finally, i did the horrible yet necessary thing... [SPOIL] i deleted the save file[/SPOIL]. but things are better now... i caught kyogre and rayquaza with ultra balls. i have a kingdra ready to train, i haven't found latias yet but i know she's there... my sceptile is in the level 80's... i didn't want to trade my pokemon over for fear of endangering my friend's game files. i used cheated rare candies to bring my blaziken to level 100. after that, i promised to never use a cheat device ever again... so that's the story of my milotic...

i think we should post what special moves milotic could have if there was one. you know in XD they gave special moves to shadows. okay so me first:

Shadow sky
shadow rave
shadow half
shadow hold

After purification:
cosmic power
flamethrower
surf
ice beam

If Milotic was a shadow it should be very hard to get so it should have a new shadow move. So here I go:

I would like a Shadow Milotic, but I don't think there will be any Shadow Milotic, I think Pokemon wants the Feebas thing to be a challenge. If there was a Shadow Milotic we'll just trade it to Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald and if it was female we'll breed it.

I can't say there won't be a Shadow Milotic, I'm just saying that I don't think there will be one. Who knows?

Yeah but I added thunderbolt over flamethrower so it can be a boltbeamer. Anyway Calm Mind may be better than Cosmic Power.

But there isn't a Shadow Milotic so no point in speculating over sets. And as I said, if there is 1, it should be hard to get (Beat Mt. Battle, Purify Everything, Extra Quest etc.). Luckily I have a friend who can breed me a Feebas in the meantime.
