Shadow Pokémon?

Shadow Pokémon?

Do you think this game will have shadow pokémon like the other two did?

I personally do not because after you purify, there isn't anything exciting about them... (except they sometimes have some good attacks).

I wouldn't count on no Shadows from this point onward. If Nintendo/GS makes atrend, they tend to stick with it. Unless you guys make a petition...

I very much believe the shadow component of the 3D RPGs will not be put down until after this game. However I also feel that this game will have either no, or very little, story mode. I know it's the last thing anybody wants but it is a possibility.

I hope not, Shadow Pokemon were a bit of a let down. It didn't really suit Pokemon, imo. They should jsut have a full 3D version of the RPGs. That's what the fans want, so why not give it to them?

The shadow story allows them to make a somewhot darker plot so I like that. Also, purifying is really easy and fast with the purify chamber.

It would be OK if Shadow Pokémon returned. At least it's an incentive to pass time with your Pokémon and actually spend time with them, as opposed to get them, evolve them and drop them in a Box for the rest of their lives. Which is the case with all Handhelds. Thanks to Colosseum/XD, I got to know many Pokémon that, due to the handheld's awkwardness, I just used briefly and didn't grow to love them.

It might be annoying (Of course, if you just want it easy... :rolleyes: ), but it has a major impact in those that actually care about Pokémon, and are eager to try new things, and due to the badly planned handhelds, can't saciate their desires.

If it goes... it's OK. But not in favor of a crappy handheld-esque quest...

Maybe they should just try something completely different. After all, Stadium didn't have much depth, and Collosseum/XD got old fast. "He's got an evil creature of the Pocket Monster variety!" "I say, let's take it!" "TALLY HO!"

even though i hated shadow pokemon form one reason the time it takes to purrify them but if they fix that like they sort of did in XD i'd be happy after all it's not that bad i mean it could be worse..

Oh yes, two games about Shadow Pokémon is indeed so much more than the eleven plotless "I got my starter and beat Team Whatever and the Elite Four in the same day" crap.
I would be more upset if they made this another Gym beating game with no plot, depth or realism what-so-ever, than a Shadow Pokémon game, that had the two best plots Pokémon has ever had and with a bit of realism.

I also liked the fact that you had to choose between around 40 Pokémon before Realgam Tower, instead of having 150+ Pokémon to choose from. It forced you to use Pokémon you normally never use and it makes you change oppinions about some Pokémon. The purifying does the same thing. You use Pokémon you normally never thought about using and you are able to see how strong or usefull they actually are. But then the Purifying Chambers in XD just had to ruin that.

I don't see what you people are complaining about? You people keep complaining how Pokémon isn't original, yet you keep *****ing about Colloseum and XD because they're different. If you don't even know what you want, don't post in threads about how an upcoming game should be. Because you obviously don't even know anything about it.

What I personally want, is something that involves legendaries. Pokémon has such great plot potential, yet it is wasted over and over again with those "Get Starter, beat Gyms, beat evil Team you just happened to stumble uppon and beat E4" games. Something simular to Pokémon XD or Colloseum, but without the Shadow Pokémon. Something like Team ??? captured D/P uber and is using is using it to create mass destruction. IMO, much better than some plotless game that has been repeated for over ten times.

I don't think you could say they are plotless, but we do need more than evil teams. I think it should be a little of both games. A bit like the GB games and a bit like the GC ones as far as storylines go. The reason being because we can finally see what the games would be like in GOOD 3D this time. I still want a more dangerous plot too though. I don't want shadow pokemon, I want a better plot without shadow pokemon.

Well I dont know if they wil include or not,but since this is for a new console,I think they are going to go a new way.

I hate shadows aswell,even though its the only link to 1 certain ribbon I dont care.And they dont need shadows to make a good game.
