How can you call those decent? Those are mediocre at best >>. He completely removed the shading and outlines, and recolored with default paint colors.

There's a Stickey Tutorial thread. You'd really better read a tutorial because the ones you've got there make my eyes hurt. Start with recoloring and the rest will follow.

The mixing tutorial also contains recolouring.

i found out i can't recolor. i found a tutorial from a respective source and when i tried it out, my computer messed it up.

i got it from here. when i did step 2, when i got on the second sprite, it automattically deleted the sprite and did'nt do what the guide said it would do.
EDIT: i finnaly figured it out! here are some results:
a castform recolored to a dratini
a azzumarill recolored to a pineco
a mankey recolored to a barboach[this one came out bad, i know]

i have done alot more sprites and i can now do fossils and revamps! here are the results:

Umm... no you can't do revamps because you just recolored them with newer colors. Recoloring =/= Revamping. You have to fix shading and outlines for a revamp. There should be a tutorial for that too...

Fossils = Recoloring, so there's not much to them...

Why do people use the excuse "I'm new so they're rubbish." If you know they aren't good then don't start a thread about them. You don't have to post the first ones you do. I myself spent a couple of weeks trying to get them to adequate standards before posting them here. very poor work 0/10...

Hey no need to get all pissy. I admit maybe I was a bit harsh but I still think you could do a helluva lot better. It's just that The shading on a few of them is non existant and your revamps aren't proper revamps therefore aren't really rateable. Your fossils are ok and so are a couple of the recolours but thats all they are... recolours. Recolours are very easy and so if you can't do them properly, well you do the math... Have a look at a revamping tutorial and a recolouring tutorial and try to improve. 2/10 cos of the slowbro and the fossils...
