Didn't like these rivals but then again they were barely rivals because Serena/Calem did a much better job. I thought Shauna, Trevor and Tierno were too friendly to take seriously as rivals

To be fair none of them claimed to be rivals except for Serena/Calem, and the OST calls them "Friends" rather than rivals.

This trio obviously wasn't all that memorable. If I had to choose one, I'd personally say Shauna. She at least had some actual personality that helped her stand out a little more, unlike Tierno or Trevor.

Avid Pokemon TCG Card collector.
From what i've seen all three pale in comparison to Lillie in USUM since Lllie is actually useful with a decent healer when she fights alongside the player.
