Come on! I mean, who has never trained a Shedinja and nearly commit suicide in frustration?! There are so many ways to kill a Shedinja like:

1. First of all, Super Effective hits. A Bug and Ghost type will have many weaknesses: fire, rock, ghost(always kills me grrrrr!), dark, any others?

2. Confuse- ALWAYS hits himself DAMN!

3. Poison- T_T

4. Cont. no. 1, Astonish kills me the most, followed by Swagger, and then poisonpowder. The moves that kill Shedinja appear frustratingly common.

5. I called my Shedinja 1-Hit Kill, since there is no space for 1-Hit Get Killed.

On the other hand, it can be rewarding to train Shedinja. If you bring in a Shedinja into the battle, it is either Live and Kill Them All, or Die Instantly,
the latter being 70% taking effect. In battle frontier, always carry an anti-Shedinja move or you might have to resort to confusion and poison(burn if you are very lucky-will o' wisp) to win and if not then tough luck- does not limit to just Greta the Arena Tycoon mind.

If you bring in a Shedinja, You will most definitely be biting your fingernails in a battle, while in Battle Frontier, if they use him, you will be like PHEW LUCKY I BROUGHT MY *insert move* or AAAAAAAAARRRGH LOST MY RECORD the moment you see him.

I love Shedinja Battle mode(20%) and hate him for 80%. Still I train him just to get the best effects out of the Wonder Guard. What do you think?

I've tried to train a Shedinja before, but I gave up. If I ever try to EV-train one, I will most likely just do what I do with Wobbuffet and have it hold Exp. Share and have another Pokemon do all the work. It can have its uses ingame, though.

I'll never train one. I like Pokemon with personality, and it seems so lifeless.

However, all my frontier Pokemon except Milotic and Lanturn have move that will own it in nothing flat, so I'm set. I just have to hope that Donphan and Skarmory/Camerupt and Cacturne don't get owned by the time it's out...

Deoxys Prime

Time will tell.
I like him but...
Spikes*
Burn
Poison*
Confuse
sandstorm*
leech seed
Flying*, dark, fire, rock, and ghost
Sadly, these all kill him. Thats a lot. Skarmory can kill sheddy by see *s

Volteon

Back I guess??
I like my sheddy, it´s not a bad poké, but it´s far to be a good one...

also I think that E4 was made to counter shedinja, look:
1st: dark (KOs shedinja)
2nd: ghost (KOs shedinja)
3rd: Hail and crunch (KOs shedinja)
4th: sandstorm, fly and flametrower (KOs shedinja)
RS 5th: spikes, sandstorm and rock slide (KOs shedinja)
E 5th: toxic...

Shedinja is an excelent pokémon when your opponent is using it and when you have a porygon2! it traces wonder guard and P2 is just affected by one type of attack!!!

Shedinja is good for catching legendaries like Rayquaza. Just teach it Protect and use it whenever it uses Fly. It's also good against Kyogre since Shedinja has no weakness against its attacks.

N00b in the dungeon!
Shedinja is immune to Bug, Fighting, Ground, Normal, Water, Grass, and Psychic. What a vast expanse of deadly weaknesses it must have! *Emitting sarcasm*
Personally, I've never trained a Shedinja. I have used Nincada as a HM slave many times, but I never fight with HM slaves unless I'm despaerate, and I always replace it with a more versatile HM slave like Azumarill before I have the chance to evolve it.

Well that's what happens when you use a Pokémon that is susceptible to almost any Special Attack and has like 1 Hit Point. >>;

I don't see the point of training something so weak and easy to beat.

You forgot Poison, Ice and Steel.

Kyaku

. . .
I've never bothered to train one. >_< All I did was just train Nincada to level 20 and evolve it. Meh, from the looks of it, I'll just give it the EXP. Share and go through the E4 a few times.

If Nincada is bloomin' hard enough to train, I could only imagine what old Sheddy would take to train. It could be worth it but I'm going to be one of those people that will never find out.
