Shines are all entirely based on luck, look on that shiny sticky link on the above post

Maybe you can try Soft Reseting, sometimes it helps. Good luck.

Yes, you can get shinys in FireRed and LeafGreen but it is very hard.
Its something like a one in 8000 chance of getting one, so its very unlikely.

Really?
Beating every gym does not affect the outcome of coming across a shiny... I think. You could encounter one in your first 10 minutes of the game or you might never see one ever. I've seen 5 in my whole life time.

You haven't been playing the games since the early days of Gold and Silver I presume.

Oh and btw, I didn't count in the pre-set shiny Gyarados in the 2nd Generation games.

Trying to remember which shinies I've seen and when:

Heracross - Gold
Weedle - Gold
Magnemite - Crystal
and ironicly:
Magnemite - Sapphire
Deoxys - Emerald (although I gotta admit that I used a cheating device to encounter lots of Deoxys for it's EV points. One of them were yellow.)

Wild Cherry

Magma Commander

Yet somehow that seems so stupid, it's not the easiest way.

Magikarp is the easiest, also pokemon that are the only ones in the area.

Eg.

Whismur
Magikarp
Magnemite
Voltorb
Carvahna
Zubat

You know, pokemon that are 'pests'.

Furret rocks
It's all based on random luck...

well even tho u used a cheating device the chance of it being shiny is still 1/8xxx so "lucky" you:p

(by lucky i mean.. yeah if u wanted a shiny u would just make the code for it, but still... ^^)

Completing The Trio
abra and clefairy are the two easiest ones to get out of alll of the 3rd gen games, because you can buy two boxes full of abras or 1 full box of clefairys, because once you have filled up your party, the remaining abra/clefairy you buy get sent to your box

the only shiny pokemon i have was the red gyarados from G/S and thats it!!
