Shining Cards From Neo Destiny

Hi everyone.

Okay, I've been trying to collect all 8 of the Shining Pokemon from the Neo Destiny set.


And so far, I have 5 of them:

Shining Raichu (which I actually have 2 of, lol, if someone wants to trade/buy the extra one, let me know)

Shining Kabutops

Shining Tyranitar

Shining Noctowl

Shining Mewtwo


So that means I only need to get: Shining Charizard (which will probably be VERY hard for me to find), Shining Steelix, and Shining Celebi



Anyway, I have two questions. How much are each of these Shining cards worth? And out of the 8 cards, which one is the rarest and is worth the most?

All Shining Cards from Neo Destiny today are alot cheaper. Probably around $20. I only have two shining cards, Shining Kabutops (1st) and Shining Mewtwo (2nd), unfortunately. You can find the prices of those cards at Pokeorder.com.

Oh, cool.

And yeah, I figured they'd be cheaper now, since Neo Destiny's really old (lol).

I also figured they'd be around $20 or so, cause the last time I checked, a Beckett Pokemon Anime magazine listed all of them and the price for each one and they were all worth about that much.

This depends on the condition and the edition.

1st ed. shiny Charizard goes for $50, while 1st ed. Mewtwo, Celebi and Tyranitar can go for $30.

I'm missing 1st ed. Steelix and 1st. ed Noctowl.

Aww......

That really sucks for me.


Because none of my Shining cards are 1st Edition.

I'm pretty sure they're regular cards (I forgot what you call those, lol).


However, oddly enough, most of my other cards from that set and the previous sets are all 1st edition. O.O

There's always E-bay, kiddo. If you really want a 1st ed. shiny Charizard, there's bond to be one there...eventually.

hey - just gets heaps of boosters of Destiny, you'll get them. i got 5 packs, and got 2 Kabutops Shining! i have Shining Celebi and SHining Steelix (as well the shining forms of Noctowl, Mewtwo, Kabutops and Tyranitar)! i would give em to you, but i too am trying to get the whole set of shining pokemon from NEO! (inc mgikarp and gyarados)

It's actually cheaper to just buy the cards you need. To open up pack after pack in the hopes of completing your set not only costs much more, but isn't foolproof.

When a set comes out, I generally just buy a box and then purchase whatever cards I didn't receive from the box on E-bay. That way, I get what I need instead of spending cash on repeat holo after repeat holo.
