Shiny Ditto glitch problem

In the shiny Ditto glitch im planning to do, I have to teach my shining
Gyarados Mimic but Mimic is not a TM so how do I teach it to him?

It only works with R/B/Y. In R/B/Y there is a Mimic TM that you obtain by giving a Pokédoll to the Copycat. I think you know what to do after that.

what is that ditto glitch any way.i dont even think there is a ditto glitch.
because if there is a glitch you would of told us by now instead of talking about a gyrados learning mimic.

I'm not sure about the specific details, but it's a glitch that turns your Shiny Gyarados from GSC to a Shiny Ditto via Mimic and Transform. IIRC, it involves RBY as well. The Ditto can then breed with Pokemon for a 1/64 chance of a shiny baby.

1. Catch the shiny Gyarados (or any shiny Pokémon) in G/S/C.
2. Make it all moves, except for one non-offensive move, such as Leer.
3. Trade the Pokémon over to R/B/Y.
4. Teach the Pokémon Mimic through a TM.
5. Encounter a wild Ditto.
6. Use Mimic to copy Ditto's Transform.
7. Use Leer or another non-offensive move untill Ditto uses Transform again.
8. Capture Ditto.
9. Trade Ditto to G/S/C. The Ditto is now shiny.
