Shiny Ditto!

So I got my first shiny, and it's a ditto! Shiny dittos rock, because when they transform they stay shiny ^_^

This aside though, is there any point at all in me raising this?

There is a possibility you can use him in battle. If I had a shiny Ditto, I would use it on my team. I would challenge myself.

What nature is it? it could be used in a nu/uu competitive environment.
A note, ALWAYS MAX HP EV'S ON DITTO!
It would at least be a pokemon you could train to level 100 and then just use for breeding if you want..... or if not, I'll trade you something via diamond/pearl if you get it.

Too bad the Ditto doesn't copy the stats as well. Now THAT would be awesome. I'd raise any Ditto then, let alone a Shiny one!

Ditto copies everyone of the foes stats except HP.

Well, It's preety useful coz if ur bored and wanna have fun... You can use it to find out other pokemon's shiny forms...

And I dunno if this can happen, you can use it 2 breed and who knows, maybe even a shiny would come out!

In my fire red version I once put a Ditto in the daycare as soon as I caught it and forgot about it. Then after I finished the game I went there to put in a Larvitar and I saw my Ditto was level 100.

Day care's as bad as rare candies. It's not worth chucking it in there unless you max the EVs.

I think I'll try to train it, then. If I ever get Wifi, I can make my oppenents think I have shiny everything xD And challenges are good too.

it copies the base stats then overlaps it with it's own ev's.

Are you sure about that? because all the info everyone has had until now is that it copies the stats as is, no ev training is saved except for HP.
