I was wondering if you can hatch a shiny from an egg???

Yes but you have the same chance of that of finding a shiny in the wild

You can but theres a super small chance, about 1/8800

its 1/8192 in the wild and eggs but in g/s/c if u bred a shiny it became 1/60

ya, in gold,silver,and crystal, you'd be able to breed the red gyrados with a ditto to get a gold magikarp

It is a small chance, but it can happen.
