shiny pokemon

I caught a shiny altaria from the sky pillar. I leveled it up and saw that it had maxed out genes compared to the rest of the altarias that I caught. Is this true that shiny pokemon have better genes than normal pokemon? I heard it on gamefaqs but I didn't think it was right.

No, they don't have better genes than normal pokemon. And next time please search before starting a new thread http://serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=92359
