Shiny Pokemon

Ok, I know this is a bit "newbish" but does a shiny pokemon keep their alternate color when it evolves? I have never encountered one during my years of playing, and my cousins who have caught shinys never touched theirs.

Yep, they keep their shiny color when they evolve. Also, if you have a shiny Nincada and evolve it with an extra slot in your party and an extra pokeball, you'll get a shiny Ninjask AND a shiny Shedinja.

Furthermore, if you have a shiny Ditto and have it use transform, it will turn into a shiny version of whatever you copied for the duration of the battle.

THird answer, yes. And if you clone a shiny Eevee seven times, you can get seven different shinies. That is if you approve of cloning.
Actually, you get seven of the same shinies. :p Until you evolve them, that is. They have the same stats, gender, nature, etc. when you clone them. Essentially, they're the same pokemon. The only difference will lie in how you raise them.

The shiny ditto thing, i highly belive. I have a shiny ditto, went into battle. Used transform, and it never EVER transformed into the shiny version of my opponent. So yeah. =|
