Shiny Rayquaza

Now, before you ask what this is doing outside the R/S/E Shiny FAQs, let me tell you this; my computer is not loading that page very well. Rather odd, if you ask me...

Anywho, I'm playing Emerald, just about to catch Rayquaza. I know shinies are very rare, but I was wondering if the Rayquaza figure in the game has to be black (or whatever colour the shiny is), so that I can catch it "Shiny"?

Are you asking if the actual, out-of-battle rayquaza sprite has to be black?

No, and it will not ever be black.

keep fighting it and you might run in to a shiny black rayquaza (you might want to bring a master ball so you dont smash your GBA in ten pieces when you kill it by mistake).

Oh and 9voltdude; I have a DS, so it might just get really angry! I'll practise KOing it gently with a real one, hoping that no critical hits KO the Shiny!!

that was really hard to understand, and I finally get it, the answer is no. You will see it shiny (black) if it is shiny when you are in the game, the main screen rayquaza is always green
