Question for everyone, I have a guy who said hes from Russia trading me some pokemon but I realized Russia doesnt have a tag will the game still recognize it as a foreign pokemon for masudo?

I don't think so. I believe it has to be caught IN a foreign game. Sometimes foreign people trade non-foreign Pokemon they got in trades. As far as I can personally tell, they don't work for Masuda Method.

Yeah he says hes from Russia breeding his own Russian pokemon to trade me but Russia doesnt have a tag so technically it is foreign but theres no proof 0.0

Masuda Method description - An internal marker on each Pokémon identifies their "home location", 0x17. If the game recognizes the two Pokémon in the daycare as having different home locations, then when an Egg is generated,
Home location is NOT the game language. I have no point in lying
Internal location is identified by your Nintendo Ds
