Celebrating the Best of 2013​

It's that time of year again! Time to take a look back at the previous year's offerings in this section to reflect and celebrate—the Shipping Oscars!

Sorry I'm getting this up a bit later than I intended to. I got sick at exactly the wrong time and it really set me back X_x But I have the privilege of hosting this for my third year in a row, with a big thanks to the past hosts, Encyclopika, Water Spirit, shadow_shipper, and Uzumaki Hinata, who made this possible.

We'll be following the same drill as last year and head straight to the vote. All the eligible stories/people have already been listed out in their appropriate categories. All you have to do is cast your vote. Eligible stories = stories that were updated at some point during the year 2013. That means even if your story was started in, say, 2010, as long as you’ve posted a chapter in 2012 your story is eligible for this year’s Oscars.

How do you vote? Simple enough. Just send me a PM telling me which folks you’d like to vote for. BAM! Done. The deadline for voting is March 15th, 2014, which means you’ve got some extra time to get some reading in even if you haven’t already checked a lot of these out. So please do vote!

And when you vote, you'll get a nice little emblem on it with your name and pairing of your choice on it to proudly show your participation:

Well, this is a pleasant surprise! :) I had no idea this "Shipping Oscar" worked liked this; I thought you had to apply or something fancy like that. I'll definitely have to write more on the forums now; what a nice incentive. :3

And I'm turning 21 in four days. This is a lovely unexpected gift. lol.

Since my fic won 'More Please!', and I haven't given up on it [I just thought I was going to get a review before I posted the first chapter, or something], it's going to be expanded further. Does that make it eligible for any other possible 'best fic' position next time?
