Shock and Horrors! Mochi Mayhem on the Ship

The Rising Volt Tacklers are waiting for Liko's grandmother, Diana, to arrive when they realise that Murdock and the others have disappeared. Liko, Dot, Roy and Ult split up to search for them but find a group of adults closing in on them and dancing while saying "Mochi". They try to escape but then start disappearing themselves. What is on the ship that is causing this?

So is Pechurant looking for a new Loyal Trio? first Cap, Killowatrel and Lucario, later MIdnight Lycanroc, Bombirdier and Aipom in flashback. And main Loyal Trio shown.

Yep, backstory episode for Diana and Liko getting the armor, not a bad episode lol.

I felt the conclusion to the Mochi Mayhem here being a bit abrupt and anticlimactic, but I suppose it was the only viable solution without dragging the episode on for too long. And while Quaxwell didn't evolve, I'm glad we got the Auspicious Armor at the end! Armarouge next episode, no doubt.

So the mon that Diana caught with Hamber's help in HZ107 was Pecharunt all along...

Considering how her Arcanine was able to wreck Pecharunt, it's safe to say it's nowhere near as strong as the Six Heroes, meaning it can't be one of the 18 Tera Types that'll help power Terapagos's Stellar Form

The whole episode was kinda weird. It feels like the writers were obligated to promote DLC content in some form, and the only way they could do that without disrupting the story was having Pecharunt join Diana, and then having it cause mayhem on the airship.

Seems like it. Feels a bit weird that Diana didn't bring up the super rare Mythical Pokémon she had caught the last time she met her granddaughter, because it really downplays the significance of it.

Did Diana mention Pecharunt's signature move, Malignant Chain, in the flashback, or am I misremembering?

EDIT: She didn't. Misremembered.
