That's funny because she got a mythical pokemon who can mind control whole villages, Diana can easily end the explorers if she wanted toThe funny thing is that she's conveniently absent whenever they're fighting the bad guys. She even let them deal with Explorers and Rakua all by themselves and went off to keep traveling the world without a care in the world, lol. She'll help the main characters progress the plot, but she won't stick around for the main conflict.
Bro calm down, literally everything shown in the episode is consistent with the games, don't know what you expected really...Absolutely a garbage episode, Jesus Christ. Starting off the new year with this ****.
Its a shame too coz HZ had a strong streak of episodes going for a while and this arc in general was fine, but this episode is just so bad
The actual fun and memes of Mochi Mayhem DLC absolutely fall flat in the anime and it’s so irritating to see the DLC legends treated like this. Would have rather had an episode showing how Diana and Hamber actually caught it then whatever this was
What a waste of the games
Well, this series is nothing if not extremely predictable.I ******* told y'all it was hers.
And I ********* knew Diana was going to cut to the chase and give Liko the armor she needs.
Yeah.......except it kind of feels more like quantity over quality, no?Man, at least Liko is updating her team as fast as Dot is. The boys hardly have much to update in comparison.
She's honestly more interesting than Liko is.At this point Diana is probably the most competent adult in this series. Even Friede at this point only has 3 Pokémon.
I mean, that's a pretty consistent problem across the board for Horizons with its characters, not just Diana. She also does everything almost flawlessly and is a perfect person whom everyone likes. I'm not saying she shouldn't be a nice person, but her achieving everything all the time is getting predictable and a little flat.
Im just tired of HZ constantly hoeing the games, especially since Scarlet and Violet were so rich in their story and charactersBro calm down, literally everything shown in the episode is consistent with the games, don't know what you expected really...
Don't worry, Armarouge will carryIm just tired of HZ constantly hoeing the games, especially since Scarlet and Violet were so rich in their story and characters
It isn’t consistent with the games, one of the reasons it worked so well in the games is coz of the different specific characterisations of the main cast, especially as the main game friends meet the DLC friends. It also had funny scenarios like Nemona. In the anime the characterisation just isn’t taken advantage of whatsoever and the meme just isn’t funny when it isn’t new anymore and isnt used in a more funny context. It would be a treat to see if the other stuff was adapted as well but oh well
It was just so weird purposely cutting out the interesting aspects this episode could have had (properly fleshing out the game backstory for Pecharunt, seeing how Diana and Hamber caught it and getting Kitakami, Best girl Ogerpon left in the dust)
Its just hard to have fun when everything is a downgrade compared to the games.
Atleast Charcadet is evolving soon, I have liked his development
I'm used to the anime doing no justice to the games.Im just tired of HZ constantly hoeing the games, especially since Scarlet and Violet were so rich in their story and characters
I was mostly fine with how the SM series adapted the game plot and Nebby. I can't say the same about how Nebby was treated in the Adventures manga, though...*recalls Ash taking the majority of Lillie's stuff in Sun & Moon*
In fairness, this isn’t exactly a Horizons issue. Journeys had the same issue with both Sword & Shield and Legends Arceus’s stories, and this has been a sentiment that’s gradually been building up since BW.Im just tired of HZ constantly hoeing the games, especially since Scarlet and Violet were so rich in their story and characters

They kind of abandoned SM halfway through in favor of USUM, though.I was mostly fine with how the SM series adapted the game plot and Nebby.
True, but fortunately, I like USUM, so I didn't mind that. They kind of abandoned SM halfway through in favor of USUM, though.
Journeys literally adapted the games more and better than Horizons did, how in the world could we sink so low that JN is a better adaptation? At least the main threat from SS got its story arc even if extremely rushed and its champion got to shine for plenty of episodes, that's more than what HZ can say about adapting literally anything from Area Zero, Kitakami or Blueberry, or its champion usage. In fairness, this isn’t exactly a Horizons issue. Journeys had the same issue with both Sword & Shield and Legends Arceus’s stories, and this been a sentiment that’s gradually been building up since BW.
It sucks that the Horizons isn’t really following the games’ stories anymore, but I think it’s smarter production wise since OLM doesn’t have to include every element of the games. I think we might be better to view the anime as doing its own thing and using aspects of the games for their own plot
