Shocked and Frustrated!!!

I was playing my Colosseum game and i connented it with a GameBoy Advance to trade Pokemon with a friend's LeafGreen Game Pak. We were to make 6 trades, and we made them. But when we trisd to trade the same pokemon again, so that we get our party pokemon back (we only needed the other pkmn for the pokedex), we found out that my Groudon, which was in the 4th slot, hadn't been traded with my friend's Entei at all, but instead my friend had his Entei and i had his Entei, too! Groudon had disappeared! I swear that we didn't touch the Power button of any device or the Memory Card. The trade seemed to have been done normally until the moment my friend switched on his GBA and checked his party pkmn. Help me. What might have happened? Is Groudon lost 4ever? Can this happen to other pkmn aswell?;383; ;244;

could be a glitch, but next time, catch a nidoran or something and trade it for entei. You shouldve done that so youd have two enteis and a groudon. Maybe you discovered the clone glitch for colloseum! It was in Gold. Anyho, maybe your GCN had something wrong with it, or the game was scratched or something, cause I have no idea what you did.

This is the same glitch that some people use to duplicate rare items and Pokemon. Your link cable must have come lose (just a little bit) at just the right moment for the game receiving Entei to finish saving while the game receiving Groudon determined that the link had been severed and reverted to the save just before the trade was made. Unfortunately, there is no way to get your Groudon back. Once the GBA or GameCube has finalized a save, the old save is unrecoverable. It is entirely possible that this could happen again, although the timing required for it is incredibly precise, so that possibility is low.

Except I was stuck with a Pidgey. Less cool then Entei.

That happened when i traded my Delibird to Sapphire i lost the minun but got 2 delibirds i was really happy!

That's too bad. It seems that your link cable got loose right at the end of the trade while saving. It's happened to me, that way I lost a Salac berry (luckily I had 7 left )

That really stinks but it could be, or not be a glitch. If the link cable get loose then no one gets there pokemon they are tradeing because they are both being traded at the same time.
