Should Ash catch Eevee?

Although I'm really not a fan of the anime pushing eevee over and over onto our TVs, now that Ash has gotten a Lucario and Eevee is in gen 9 (of course), and with many of his friends having one, I would not be surprised if Ash himself would capture one in Paldea at this point.

So should Ash catch one? I think that if he does, it'll ultimately evolve into an Espeon or a Sylveon but idk

Actually, Ash could catch a New Gen 9 mon instead of a Eevee.

And, He's already powerful as is so there is no need for a Eevee.

Already a lot of Eevee trainers including one in Paldea already. If they give him another fanfiction team, I hope they follow the JN template and give him mons like Tyranitar or Kingambit
