Should Ash have a legendary pokemon?

If Ash was to have/catch a legendary, I would say the best choice would be Latias (Pokemon Heroes: Latios and Latias), as she wasn't very good at fighting.

Because it would lose to a non-legendary eventually and people would ***** about just like they do about Pikachu losing to a Snivy.

Easy solution would be Phione.

Its the spawn of a legendary and is extremely weak. So its the perfect choice for ash mainly due to the latter reason.
